Dice K's era now stands at 5.45. NICE.

He hung two L's on your ass in two tries. NICE.

And I bet' date=' just like Josh Beckett, you expect him to stay this way[/quote']

You know to be honest I'm not sure. Control problems at the major league level are catastrophic. If he continues to have poor control I don't think he will do much. Certainly without the errors from Lugo he may be doing better but I'm not seeing those breaking balls I saw in the videos.

not by anything he did. Mostly because the pitcher opposing him shat the bed.

You keep telling yourself that, so it must be real comforting.

4ER and 5ER in 2 starts is nothing impressive ORS. Cut the s***.

No Jackson, you cut the s***. He got dinked and dunked in the first outing and had one meltdown inning in the other. For the most part, he put your vaunted lineup in his back pocket, and your horse[face] couldn't shut our "crummy" (your words) offense down. He beat you, twice. It stings so you dump on him.

Who cares whether or not Matsuzaka is having a hard time right now? The Sox have a chance to win, that's all I care about. I'm happy to have him on our team, and he is definitely looking like a #3 right now (on any team other than the Yankees :D ) At this point in the season you gotta let these guys get warmed up. Daisuke pitching with sleeves on every start is not going to be standard this season. If he's throwing like this in July or August there may be cause for some concern, but first week in May? Not a huge problem in my opinion.

I'd have to say he has a good excuse for his lack of success thus far.

I would say pitching your first 6 games in the majors is a good excuse as well. Just sayin'.
