the sox 2004 IF was as gritty as they get.... well, youk, pedrioa, lowell, lugo -not quite as gritty, but i think they can pull through

 

if you comepare them though, i think our new IF is as solid as 04's

youk can get on base better than millar

pedrioa has a s*** load better k% than bellhorn

lugo really doesnt have anything on OC

lowell is about equal with mueller, except lowell has batter defense i think

but the 04 IF definently had some great chemistry

i am not to sold on pedoria yet ..he kinda struggled last year but we will see i think we should have brought loretta in just incase ..he strugggles again .. but that 04 team just had it ..grit ,intangbles and hella luck .

he was solid, but his statistics suffered due to unluckiness; im sure its been mentioned about a thousand times on this board, but dint you watch him play in LA? he got robbed of tons of hits in that game.

It wouldn't have been a bad idea to bring Loretta back, how do you know it was unluckiness and him getting robbed? I'm willing to give him a chance too, but how do you know he wont get "robbed" again this year? Maybe he's not as good as we all think, he didn't prove himself to be a no worry last year, insurance is always a good thing.
