Seeing there has been a rush of ex-Red Sox players who'll be retiring from baseball, like Gabe Kapler, J.T. Snow, and Bill Mueller, what could you see Curt Schilling and Jason Vartiek doing, when they retire from baseball?

Jason Varitek could become a team manager, maybe as soon as Francona leaves.

Seriously, you're the posterboy for the decline in public education in America.

s*** Crespo, don't blame me. I was told I was a good teacher and I certainly didn't have your friend for a student. Then, again, after reading that post of his maybe I shouldn't even mention that I was one.:dunno: :dunno: :dunno: :dunno:

I see Coco doing a lot of cheesy commercials with his dad.

Don't be surprised if Mike Lowell ends up a manager someday. Been around the game his whole life, hes a pros pro.

Schilling- Manager, or leader of the next Christian crusades to take back the holy land.:o

Tek- manager material

Lowell- Manager/ FO

Manny- Carribean night club owner where everyone can be Manny being Manny for a cover charge.

Papi- Papi´s big smile dentist firm.:D

Youk- Youks steam rooms, sweat like Youk in fabulous luxury!

WMP- Wily Mo´s batting cages, learn to hit like the pros...

Mirabelli- Donut shop owner

Wakefield- Dancing with the Stars, watch wak dance like his famous knuckleball:thumbsup:

Nixon- Trots dirt dawg dry cleaning service, where no stain it to nasty.

Thats all I got for now:D

Schilling - Politics, representing the religious right, and ultimately winning a seat in the US Senate while wearing a bloody tie.

Ortiz - will endorse a product that rivals George Foreman's grill...called the "Happy Papi Grillmaster"

Mike Lowell - Gillette Track 10 adds...it takes 10 blades to bust through that barbed-wire beard of his.

Mirabelli - will attempt to generate support behind a bill he'll ask Schilling to bring to Congress that states ALL Americans only have to work one day out of every 5.

JD Drew (yeah I know he's not a Sox player, yet, but I can't resist) - will be the subject of scientific experiments designed to investigate whether it is possible for a man to grow a set of balls after the age of 25.

Matsuzaka - will run an extremely profitable mail-order bride business, pairing very wealthy Americans with unproven Japanese brides who have "potential".

Too bad this wasn't about the Yankees after career aspirations. With the way A-Rod likes to sun himself in Central Park with his shirt off he'd be a great candidate for opening a nudist camp in Tijuana.

I could see Lowell, Varitek, and Youkilis being managers after they retire. I also have a strong suspicion that Schilling is preparing to be a color commentator or analyst.

ARod will run a male escort service in Miami.

I forgot that piece' date=' nice rebound ORS.[/quote']

ORS and Jack, you improved my take on things concerning A-Rod's post baseball career very impressively. Kuddos to both of you.

I imagine Doug Mirabelli will stumble out of Kowloons in his underwear completely wrecked....grab a bat from his beaten up pickup truck, scream "Dougie is going deep tonight" and hit balls on to route one.

He will swing and miss at 1/3, pull another third through his windshield and the other 1/3 will end up on to traffic on route one.....and he will give them the finger and scream Nomar is a homo.

.....then take the Red-Eye flight to LA and give Lowe a wedgie.
