Hinske=Toronto's Garbage

He's not worth the $ even if Toronto picked up half of his salary. Abreu was a better value at $!7 million plus luxury tax etc.

in your eyes that may be true...but it's not your money, right?

That's where the issue lies, its not about a better move by the Yanks, it comes down to either (1) ability to assume $17m or (2) willingness to assume $17m.

The Sox just don't spend that way either out of financial constraints or obligation to their investors.

it's just the way it is...some things will never change.

geez, fatman having a great day and we can't even put up a run----why do i keep watching this crap...we look like the pawsox out there

9 LOB now.

wonderful. just fkn terrific.

I'm telling you, Timlin had a point.

When we get offense, we get no pitching, when we get pitching, we get no offense. While the pen has lost two games for us, the offense has really sucked, despite the amount of runs scored.

eh Id much rather see the Sox use that money towards what they really need... pitching

Is Timlin the one to call out the team? 17 runs in his last 11.2 innings... yea he can keep his mouth shut

-- Timlin never at all had called out the pitching. He purely stated that it was the offense doing jack s***. We are holding down the opposing offense consistently, we're throwing the ball really well

Unfortunately, there is no pitching out there to get.

Nice play Lowell. Wells looks ace like. We have two aces, but it doesn't matter. They get no run support, or bullpen support.

Just admit he has a point though. Duh he wont call out his fellow pitchers, no pitcher would call out other pitchers. But this offense has scored a lot of runs when we didn't need them, and no runs when we do need them. We probably lead the league in runners stranded.

Just admit he has a point.

Where is the run support? Where was it yesterday?

This is Cory Lidle pitching, not Roger Clemens.

what are you talking about the offense gave them a 5-3 lead in the 8th inning , and what do you know timlin himself screws it up, and not to mention a good lead in friday nights game too when they scored 10 RUNS!

The offense is not the main reason the Sox have lost 4 straight to the Yankees

someone please tell tito that coco was batting over 300 down in the order and now he's turned back into a pumpkin leading off...it's just painful to watch

Timlin doesn't have a point.

This team is third in MLB in runs scored. If it could pitch at all, they'd be in first place.

exactly ,so stop with the nonsense that timlin is right

5 runs...wow! Then stranded 3 men in the 9th. How about scoring double diget runs when we get a good outing? They left 13 men on base, including 6 left in scoring position. They've stranded 41 batters in 4 games. That is bad. No big hits what-so-ever.

The pen should take most of the blame, but the offense has to take a lot of it as well.

THEY COULDN'T SCORE A f***ING RUN OFF OF CORY FREAKING LIDLE!!!!!!!!!! That is almost worse than allowing 7 runs in 1 inning.

unreal, they actually have to pitch to tizzle and he blows up-----we can't expect him to do it all the time, but it's painfully obvious noone else can do it
