Abreu with 6 RBIs in one inning. That has to be some sort of record..

edit: 6 ties an AL record with about 9 others. Fernando Tatis holds the NL record with 8 (wow).

Didn't he hit two grand slams in one inning?

Yeah. I watched that game, it was crazy.

It's so good to see Sui back, *warm fuzzies*

Agreed

What's Beckett's ERA again?

Didn't we start a Beckett ERA watch too?

Well if not, I'll start it now: 5.09

He's been dealing his past 4 starts (something like a 3.33 ERA), hopefully for RSN's sake its for real.

At least he can kick the "he's never hit 200 innings before" excuse, 16 innings away with 3 expected starts to come

Tatis is more widely known for misplaying a ball off cano's bat resulting in an Oriole loss. that's what most know him for.

Lol, in the eyes of Yankee fans.

The line up is sick, if Sheff comes back as Sheff it will be crazy. The only thing that bugs me is that it leaves Melky on the bench. Eh better to have an abundance of talented players. Also makes the bench better.

Don't count on it, but who cares. Don't need him.

Interesting coincidence that Tatis came over to the Cardinals in 1998 and then had that monster year in 1999. His decline seems to coincide with the decline of another "great" Cardinal at the time, what was his name, oh yeah - McGwire.

Oh no, we're losing our grasp on the AL East!

Oh wait...

The thing to truly admire about 700 is his consistency. It's quite remarkable. I have no doubt in my mind that if the Yankees were 161-0 and lost on the last day of the season, he'd still post that. He's a lifer. Hat's off to you, 700.

You are very consistent too. No matter what pleasure us Sox fans are deriving from an event in the season, you show up to post about and remind us of any Yankee successes to try and drag us down. I'm not saying you are green and covered with warts, but it wouldn't surprise me to find out you spend a lot of time under a bridge.
