So you think idiotic posts are fine? I don't care where we are' date=' idiotic posts should not be encouraged.[/quote']

Did the Yankees lose? They lost. Get over it. He's stating a fact which seems to get under your skin. If it's a fact, it's not idiotic.

I guess you forgot this is 3 years later' date=' a different team and a different league. Besides those minor details, he's basically the same right?[/quote']You are right. He is different than three years ago, but his ERA is 4.82 and Unit's is 5.00.

It's idiotic to put in huge print when and say backed into the playoffs when it has no significance.

Again, you guys get irritated by the smallest things. It's quite comical. I wouldn't be surprised if I saw that in many Yankee forums saying THE SOX LOSE or whatever the majority of your fan base likes to do. Yankee fans like you that get so irritated by the smallest sign of opponents' fans rubbing something in your face are the reason that so many people hate the Yankees. Go find some articles to prove me wrong. You'll find more that say the fans are the reason everyone hates the Yankees.

I'd rather back in then not be in at all. What an idiotic post. I don't care if you are joking' date=' it has no need here.[/quote']What do you mean that it has "no need here"? How so? Please explain.

It's their payroll and i'm not going to bother finding articles proving it. It's common knowledge people hate the yankees because of the money, not the fans. That really came out of left field.

Because it's stupid to say we backed in as an insult. It's like insulting a record setting marathon runner for slowing down a few secs at the end. What's the point?

They didn't win the division with a win on the field. They clinched on a loss of the second place team-- commonly known as backing in. I did congratulate you on it, so what's your problem?:dunno:

No, it didn't come out of left field. Take a look in some of the threads around here. There are a few articles that say that say it's not necessarily the team, the success, or the money that's the base of the hatred for the Yankees. It's the fans who have their noses in the air thinking their the s*** because they root for the team who's won the most titles.

But since you won't bother to prove your point, I find no spark to try to prove mine. You can be as far in denial as you'd like, but it doesn't change the fact that the hatred for the Yankees is fueled by their fans.

I'm sure a few people don't like the yankees because of the fans, but it's not the majority and you know it.

 Think whatever you'd like, but apparently you're stubborn refusal to accept that as a base of hatred for the Yanks as a major role proves how far in denial you truly are.

We despise the Yankees because of their "common" fans with no "knowledge" but an abundance of arrogance.

I happen to respect the Yankees despite my hatred for them. When you beat a team you respect, it's much more fulfilling than beating them out of hatred.

I hate the Yankee fans that make me want to hate the Yankees more than respect them. You're a good example.

Lack of something to say in return. Sign of defeat. Thank you' date=' come again. Bitch.[/quote']

Usually when someone has nothing to say in return, the statement before did not warrent a thought out reply. See above.

This is like Michael Jackson calling for harsher penalties on sex crimes against children. Pure irony. Thanks for a morning laugh.

 You're so helpless.

ORS, if you were here last night you would have had a field day on the irony of it all. He's nothing more than a troll with one sentence posts that more often than not bashes the Red Sox or Patriots on our own Sox forum. It's quite comical.
