It's their payroll and i'm not going to bother finding articles proving it. It's common knowledge people hate the yankees because of the money, not the fans. That really came out of left field.

There are a few articles that say that say it's not necessarily the team, the success, or the money that's the base of the hatred for the Yankees. It's the fans who have their noses in the air thinking their the s*** because they root for the team who's won the most titles.

 

But since you won't bother to prove your point, I find no spark to try to prove mine. You can be as far in denial as you'd like, but it doesn't change the fact that the hatred for the Yankees is fueled by their fans.
