Kelly Stinnett is the biggest piece of crap I have ever seen. He brings NOTHING to the table. Nothing what so ever. He cant hit and most of all hes a s*** catcher. For a team with a massive budget they should atleast have a decent back up catcher not some trash like Stinnett.

That is the baggage that comes with a difficult player like RJ.

Well Posada was supposed to start today, but since he got hit on the hand yesterday, and the game ended at like 1:30AM, they musta decided to give him it off.

Yeah, Posada was scratched 10 minutes before first pitch according to the Yankee pregame. Foul ball of his hand in the 11th yesterday, but the Yankees already used their bench up and he stayed in the game.

I never thought I'd call this team scrappy, but that's the way they are playing. If they keep getting pitching like this up and down the rotation they'll win a lot of games down the stretch. It would be nice to get Cano back soon.

Welllllllll you shouldn't have to and it is oxymoronic to call a $200 mil+ team "scrappy", but yeah, always get a kick out of that one. ;)

RS got the reference. Stinnett was RJ's caddy in AZ, and that's the reason he was brought in this offseason. If RJ weren't such a disagreeable person, he'd get along better with Posada, allowing the Yankees to get a more capable backup. Since the Posada/Johnson relationship isn't so good, they had to get someone to calm the headcase down. Enter Stinnett.

Your right and Stinnett isnt RJ personal catcher anyway which makes him useless. DFA Stinnett call up Will Nieves. I dont care if Nieves cant hit I just want him to be able to make one throw down to 2nd base that doesnt bounce 10 times. What the Yankees should have done was take advantage of Boston trading Josh Bard to SD and try and get Bard right after.

EDIT: SD has 3 catchers on the 25 man, I wonder if they would part with Bard now.

I really doubt they're gonna part with Bard as he is standing on his head right now.

Torre: Make A-Rod the DH. His fielding has been absolutely pathetic this year, and his most recent error has made this game competitive.

You know when I go to the stadium I dont boo A-Rod but this is f***ing pathetic. All the Blue Jays needed was one little crack, one little f*** up on our part to open the door for them and guess who gives it to them? f***ing A-rod. I'm really f***ing tired of this now. What a f***ing joke.

ARod has been whining like a little girl about his treatment. He should be ashamed.

Thats the thing too. Every f***ing time I turn on the god damn radio I have to hear media people defend the guy(Guys like Kay, Mike and the Mad Dog, Mike and Mike). The f***er is having a sup par season at the plate and a s*** year in the field. No one can tell me anything different. He has an 892 OPS this year, that is 67 points below his career OPS and its 139 points below last year. The guy has had a s*** season when you compare him to himself not any other 3rd basemen. The Yankees didnt trade for A-Rod too be any other 3rd basemen. I have had enough.

It doesn't help that Mussina is wound tighter than a long tailed cat's sphincter in a room full of rocking chairs. When something other than the job at hand gets into his head -- like being let down by your D -- he can be pretty craptastic. He wasn't hitting his spots as well after the E5, and that contibuted to the big inning.

Yeah, I saw that coming as soon as the error was made. If a call doesn't go his way or something else goes against him, he melts down. I remember last year he struck out 5 in like two innings in Cleveland, had one call go against him, and didn't make it out of the 3rd or 4th.

Hey, if you in a pitcher duel little league plays like that have to be made. Its like watching him in game 2 last year with Wang. He drops the ball, which leads to an Angels win. When your in a tight game you have to play tight defense. Granted I wish Mussina would have picked up him but you cant deny that if A-Rod makes that play its still 3-0.

Hes lost a fan in me. I cant take it anymore. I've never seen a player with so much talent be such a mental midget. You could see it coming too.

You had to know he was going to have problems with intestinal fortitude when he disclosed the fact about his numerous psychiatrists and the benefits of therapy.

Yes, I have no doubt that he gets out of that inning if ARod makes that play. No doubt at all. But, that's the thing with Moose. He is capable of pitching absolutely brilliantly, but everything has to be going his way. Bad defense, tight strike zone, blown call on the bases, etc. and he gets a little pissy. You can physically see his demeanor change. That is a weakness. He was dominating the Jays prior to that. Dominating. If he keeps his head, he probably strands Johnson at 3B with only one run scored.

Thats another thing that annoys me. What does he have to be so damn public with his private life. Why cant he just shut his mouth and be bland. Why does he have to describe him self as "brilliant" like he did the other day. Heres his chance to make up for it against Ryan.

He's got a 3-1 count in his favor. He walks. Nice move by the Toronto manager. Halladay was in a groove with a low pitch count and he takes him out after getting an out. What an *******!

I cant argue with you. He does have a history of blowing up when things dont go his way. I'm just frustrated with E-Rod thats all.
