detroit isnt as close to a lock as the patriots were in february but ahhh

i like them to win it all rather easily as colorado i felt was possibly a team that could stop em....they go down 4-0 and like sheep in game 4....

8 f***ing goals in a playoff game?

i dont recall that in recent memory

 

I'm fairly certain it happened in an Avs/Red Wings series back when they were both cup contenders every year. I remember the Red Wings beating the Avs by a score of, like, 7-1 in a game seven.

 

Sharks and Stars tied late in the third. If the Sharks win the game they'd have come back from 3-0 to force a game seven, and I think they've been trailing in each game somewhat late.

OK, so I got my wish, the Rangers and the Canadiens, the two teams I hate the most, are gone.

 

Best scenario now is for a Detroit-Pittsburgh final. I'd enjoy that, especially if some hatred can be built into the series right away. First things first, though.

I'm pulling for Detroit. They've been the best team all year, and it would make the Pittsburgh loss easier to swallow.

 

That was a really tough series to lose. Every game was a coinflip, the Rangers just came out on the short end of it. Here's to hoping Philly puts Crosby on his ass.

i played detroit too but i like philly to eat up sidney crosby and the flyers to upset the pengs..

philly dispatched a better washington team and ran thru the rangers like s*** thru a goose.

pitt maybe more talented but this philly team is better suited for the playoffs.

i could be wrong,it happened before,but i like philly in 6 and im not sure dallas can squeeze a game out of the wings,who are now clicking on all 8 cylinders

I admit I am nothing more than a casual fan, so Malkin, Staal, Crosby, and that goalie are shiny things that amuse me.

 

I couldn't name a single player on the Red Wings. Is Lindstrom one?

Yes, Lindstrom, there's also Johan Franzen who has 12 goals in 11 games in these playoffs allready. Henrik Zetterberg,Pavel Datsyuk . their stacked on defense with Niklas Kronvall,Brian Rafalski and of corse Lindstrom and Osgood who has been great in the pipes with a 1.45GAA and 939 Save percentage

I know Ribiero caught him in the arm/shoulder with the stick, but c'mon, he wailed on the ground like he was shot. I'm sick of the theatrics, plus Osgood did throw a butt end in his direction just before that.

 

Still, it was a stupid, stupid move by Ribiero and he may be looking at a suspension. I'd love to see Osgood suspended too for instigating it with that butt end, whether it connected or not.

theyre 10-2 so far in the playoffs

That's good for both teams. I do like that now their will be a bit more added hatred between the teams.

Detroit was firing on all cyclinders last night. Dallas scores to tie or narrow it? Bam! Wings go up again. They'll be very tough to beat.

pens go up 3-0 as well. unless there's a miracle it will be the Wings VS the Pens in the finals. Should be very fun series . both teams are rolling with the pens 11-1 and the wings 11-2 in the playoffs

Dallas down 3-2 with Game 6 at home. That series is interesting all of a sudden.
