I am loving this series, Buffalo is getting badly outplayed, despite their President's Trophy and last year's Coach of the Year.

I live in Buffalo, and now everyone is jumping off the bandwagon. 2 months ago everyone loved the Sabres and were talking about how great they were. The morning after every game they would be on the front of the BuffaloNews, the media was basically giving them blowjobs. But now no one cares about the Sabres. There are no more shirts around school and no more support. This is all funny to me, because i remember 2 years ago when the BoSox were 3-0 against the Yanks, I still spoke highly of them and i still supported them and watched every pitch. Now my friends arnt planning on watching the game as a group for Game 4, despite their support previously.

 

I think Buffalo has the talent and potential to come back and make this series interesting, but too bad they dont know how to play in the playoffs.

 

BTW, i'm not a sabres fan, so don't criticize my lack of support for them.

I have a feeling. HONESTLY. Tommorow will be UGLY - they will steal it, its MILLER TIME.

 

They roll the Sens in Game 5 - no way if they come home they lose a 3rd straight home game

 

Game Six - Ottawa is where we are now - gripping the sticks to tight and we're rolling now.

 

Game Seven - Come on? You think we lose after taking the last three?

 

I know 0-3 sucks, but read this and tell me its impossible. It starts with a good shift, period, game tommorow.

 

Ottawa better close it out tomorrow when it still can. Otherwise, a shitstorm begins.

 

Considering the Sabres haven't played anywhere near their potential and have lost what were essentially three one goal games, it's certainly not a completely ludicrous possibility

 

The only 2 teams to come back from a 0-3 defecit to win the series were the 1942 Maple Leaves and the 1975 (cant remember the team). those 2 teams were 33 years apart. Well from 1975 to 2007 is 32 years apart, i see a trend begining. If history plays out according to this one thing then the sabres will win the series 4-3.

Im sorry if I have offended you, but believe me I do see a lot of bandwagoners. I can see where your coming form. If the Sabres to play like they did in the regular season, they can make this interesting. you are correct in saying if Buffalo does pull off a win tonight, they will likely win at home to make the series to make it 3-2. But they first have to win tonight. They cant think about future games because there won't be any future games unless they win their next game for the next week.

Ummm, what?

 

Anyway the Sabres have been outclassed by Ottawa's defenseman. They can't get a consistent attack going, even when they are on the power play. I agree wit you where you say the offense can't get much worse, but how much of that is due to Ottawa?

 

As for Buffalo's defense, I'm not sure you can be better than Miller was in game 3. Gotta expect some regression from him, even though the Sabres can't afford it.

 

I think Ottawa closes it out tonight.

the fact that you celebrate the presidents trophy is nice but it really isnt a substitute for the stanley cup.

 

i remember eddie westfall won game 7 for the ny islanders 1-0 coming back from 3*0

they played that series against the pittsburg penguins if i recall

this ottawa team doesnt have a lot in common with the 75 penguins and eddie westfall isnt walking thru the buffalo lockeroom anytime soon,nor is chico resh.

sabres not playing to their potential? its the f***ing conference finals im sure their playing their asses off . it would take a complete meltdown by the senators to lose this series . the sens are 42-9 since december and havent lost back to back in regulation since .ottawa's play is making buffalo look bad , IT'S NOT BECAUSE THEIR NOT PLAYING TO THEIR POTENTIAL

well the NHL season just started a few nights ago if anyone cares , in the early going the senators look pretty good

Canucks new uniforms look like s***. So do the Sharks and Wild. I like the Bruins uniform changes.
