yep Ortiz is falling back to earth... The avg is the only thing he needs to kick into gear while he does have 15 HRs, 48 RBIs

I was at this game and here are a few thoughts:

 

1. I got Beckett's autograph!! (he was the only Sox player that signed, and he did for almost 1/2 hour)

 

2. Detroit fans need to learn to win with class. They were really rubbing it in as we left the park.

 

3. Is Nixon always so intense during a game. We were sitting in the 1st row of the RF stands, and we could not get him to look up at us no matter what. Magglio was looking up and smiling all the time. Just wonderin' if Trot is a jerk, or just really intense.

 

4. Why can't we score when Wake pitches???
