It's no wonder that they have trouble putting up runs for Wakefield. He starts with an offensive downgrade with Mirabelli, then Terry often replaces another starter resulting in an inferior lineup. Tonight he is sitting out WMP in favor of Harris, so we are working with a 6 player lineup.

He's not sitting Wily Mo because he likes the matchups of Harris against Wang & Wright... its because he has had a sore wrist since Baltimore, and theyre just being cautious. Thats why the lineups the past 2 games have been changed at the very last minute.

That is pretty much the case. I'm not so upset from A-Gonzo to Cora....neither are great hitters. I heard Willy Mo Pena was dealing with a sore wrist but I didn't know he would have to sit out two games.

I don't understand how Francona can get away with this....if I was Tim Wakefield I would be pissed off. Get some better bats in the damn lineup. Nothing you can do with Mirabelli but Cora and Harris can't hit....its a guaranteed ground ball

I realize that, but Terry always seems to saddle Wake with a light-hitting lineup. I think WMP should have given the wrist a try tonight to get another bat in the order.

I really feel for Wake. Our bats go semi-quiet every fifth night. If it was me, I think I'd begin to take offense.
