Well that was a tough loss. A very frustrating game overall. It's going to be another pitchers duel tomorrow with Beckett going against Halladay. Oh well, at least they still have the best record in the American League, or maybe they're tied with the White Sox now.

Hey, who knows? Our offense still needs to break out, who better to do it against then Halladay? Besides, he's been hurt the past couple years. As dominant as he is, I still think the Sox can go out there and put up some runs. DiNardo could give us a fine performance and we could be in fine shape.

 

The good thing about the trips to Toronto now, is that these games will finally be fun to watch with some big names up there.

Definately. I was at the April 13th game when Lilly just dominated every hitter. There were numerous caught looking strikeouts that night because his off speed stuff would just buckle you at the plate. I'm still baffled as to why the Yankees ever got rid of him, and also why the Mets ever traded away Kazmir, but I guess that trade happened at the time the old regime was still in Flushing.

those jays are pesky in their home park. This is the yankees april chance to make up ground as they have a nice long homestand and the sox have to go on the road. Go Jays!!!, well at least for the next few games!

eh, Wakefield has been his old self really. I'll take 3 Runs (2 ER) in 8 innings from him any day. The main problem is run support. Since Texas, in 3 starts he has given up 6 Runs (4 ER) in 23 innings (1 complete game). Ive got no beef with him as he has been pitching good.
