Bonds to Retire after the 2006 Season

According to espn.com Barry Bonds will retire after the 2006 season with or without the alltime homerun record.

I've heard wispers of this for awhile now. Alot of people say he doesnt care much about passing Aaron. Its Ruth he wants to pass.

Barry Bonds, just as quickly, has quashed that article. Stating now that 2007 is not out of the question. I hope he has a Rafael Palmeiro situation this year.

I dont normally wish for injuries to happen to anyone, but Bonds is one guy I wish would blow out a knee while on his way to give another 15 grand to his mistress. he's an absolute racist who makes stupid remarks about wanting to pass Ruth because he's white. I really hope that one day he gets exposed as the lying, cheating rat he is. Everyone else who cheated is just as bad, but the damage they did to baseball won't be as bad as Bonds surpassing Ruth or Aaron.

Don't you stop appreciating it when you realize he was on roids? Well he was proven guilty. He proved himself guilty. He openly admitted in court that he used steroids.

Yea, but he admitted it in confidence to a grand jury, and his testimony got leaked. Now granted, that means he used, but legally nothing has been proven.
