Ok here is what I think is gonna happen come sunday. Bettis is going to have a great finish to his career. 3 TDs. He isn't gonna rack up a lot of yards, but he's the bus, so he'll punch in for 3. Big Ben will throw for 1 TD, to Heath Miller. Ben will finish the night 19-27, 234 yds. Shawn will have 2 TD, but Matt is gonna choke, and have 2int. and no TD. I just can't see him doing good. I think seatles Def. isn't going to step up like Pitts Def.

i like seattle to win the game outright, never mind the 4 point cushion.

pitt hasnt run the ball at all in the playoffs

their qb has played unreal and hines ward is all that

HOWEVER

they beat a cinci team that lost their qb on the 1st pass of the game

they beat an indy team that quit a week before xmas

they beat a denver team that shouldve been eliminated the week before

sure they won 3 on the road in difficult conditions but i feel all 3 were very flawwed at the time

Don't get me started on that. Aside from the vanity points NE scored when the game was in little doubt, they got outscored by Champ Bailey's INT and the TD run that followed it (7-6). And that INT was forced as much as it was a lapse in judgement. :D

I know someone that's rooting for Seattle. I'm leaning towards the Hawks myself. They remind me of another team that "doesn't get any respect"

I like Seattle

Bill Cowhers history of big game failures is beyond pathetic and about the only thing in the Cowher era you can count on year in and year out is that inevitable shot where the TV camera pans up into the luxury suites and the Cowher girls (wife and two daughters) are all in tears cuz Daddy couldn't get it done in the big one again.

So until Bill Cowher proves he's something other than a Johnny-come-lately, Seattle will be where my money is bet

i agree completely ,not only is lack of winning big games ,before the start of this post season his career playoff record was 8-9 wich aint that great . Also hes probably gonna play bettis alot wich is a big mistake and cost him the game,i like the guy but hes done.I also find Mike Holmgren is a better coach who has gotten the job done before ,with the best back in the field and great defense i say seattle 30-14. So we will see Cowhers wife and daughter crying again

I believe that the steelers have won 3 road games to get this far right? No way is steelers gonna lose, I have faith in them. Like i said earlier i think that Steelers def. is gonna over whelm the Seahawks O-line, and hassleback won't have anywhere to throw the ball

Oh yeah, Seattle's O line sucks. It isn't like we have Walter Jones, Steve Hutchinson, Robbie Tobeck going to the pro bowl. (Left side + center) Not to mention a couple of decent guys on the right, Locklear, and Gary.

Very true. The exact reason why Shaun Alexander shouldn't have been the league's MVP.

Seattle all the way. I mean, if the Patriots could have just gotten past Denver, we would've beaten Pittsburgh at Gillette. I hate Pittsburgh.

he didn't even cross the plain of the goaline and darrell jackson never pushed off.....the officiating is brutal and is completely favoring the steelers.

Noooo. Please stop. I'm sick of hearing people complain about the refs. The Roethlisberger play was inconclusive, so they couldn't overturn it. The Jackson pushoff was close but if they hadn't called it people would still be whining.

The only really horrible officiating this playoffs was Polamalu's pick.

big ben was pushed back before he even got the ball across the goaline. the head offical has the lowest percentage of overturning calls the last 3 yrs. he made the wrong call.

this super bowl kinda blows and nothing says zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz like a 60+ yr old shaking his ass. At least the commercials are cool. BTW, I am a ND fan, go Jerome and go Steelers....

They JAckson pushoff WAS a pushoff. Even if you just put your arm out to hold a guy up and impede his progress its a pushoff, I dont get why people are bitching about that.

That it was.

As for Jsinger whining about Ben's TD, it doesn't have to go over the paint, and if any part of the ball goes over the white stripe, he's in. You would be complaining if they had overturned the call too.

Posted
it didnt even make it to the white strip....he was clearly pushed back before even breaking the white plain

No, he wasn't. If it was that clear it would have been overturned. The refs aren't blind you know.

Posted
this ref is when his percentage of overturning calls is the worst in the league. there is a reason that holmgren went up to him at half time because he knew what his assistants knew which was big ben never broke the plain.

I think he ran pretty straight if you ask me.

Whats your point... That should have never happened. Steeleres should die. I hate them now. Even though I didnt an hour ago.
