Did you see this article in the NY Times, where Damon says that Manny would be a good fit for the Yanks. He says we would be able to "relax", unlike with the Sox or the Mets.

Is he on drugs? Does he think we would ever trade Manny to the Yanks? Why don't we send them Schilling and Beckett while we are at it?

How does this sound?

Beckett, Lester, Manny, Ortiz

for

Bernie, Wright, Escalona, George Costanza

sounds pretty fair to me.

bottom line, johnny can keep dreaming this ain't happening, and why does he keep bringing up the sox? I thought he was "moving on."

Anyone check out the newest picture of him thats being shown on Dirtdogs. Couple of things that made me laugh

(1) This company thats sponsoring him or whatever, NUMA, has given him as a f***ing gift... a brand new ferrari, yeah like he cant but that himself. No its just handed to him

(2) Blonde hairlights?? Are you kidding me Johnny

That's probably what would kill the deal.

Do you want to see what George Steinbrenner is like without his calzones?! I certainly don't.

Speaking of Costanza but COMPLETELY off topic, I get to see Seinfeld live in March. Sweet!

I saw him last year; it was actually pretty dissapointing.

I saw it last year, it's so kick ass, I'm still laughing a year later

I didn't know what that meant, so I looked it up...

1 entry found for calzones.

cal·zo·ne ( P ) Pronunciation Key (k?l-sn, kl-zn, -zn)

n.

A baked or fried Italian turnover of pizza dough filled with vegetables, meat, or cheese.

Haha, wth??

"Dining and becoming good friends with Alex Rodriguez!"

"he remained close with Giambi, calling him his favorite teammate ever"

That makes me wanna puke!!

"the Yankees would be a perfect fit for Manny, as well as for David Ortiz."

Damon needs to STFU about the Red Sox now that he's a MFY.

The blonde hightlighs? He's already turning into a metrosexual.

You guys crack me up.

If I was going to be at Opening Day, I'd give him a standing O just for what it's done to the citizens of RSN.

he did alot but can he just forget about mentioning the red sox in every interview he has. the sox let him go.....its a freaking business.....get over it

he is gay.......i really hope he gets injured crashing into the yankee stadium wall.

No he's not gay...metro men are straight but have thier hair done by a stylist, go to spas, dress very expensively and in style and have a lot of the grooming habits you see in gay men. (get highlights..what a freakin joke)

Jeter is metro, some other athletes are too in other sports now....and gay-rod...well he's probably gay. JMO

I still hold my stance that you guys have never had to lose a handful of players that became stablemates in yankees fans' lore that went to the other side. As 26 to 6 mentioned, there was 1 recently in David Wells. Oh thats right he was thrown under the bus at yankee stadium last season's opening day

That's fine, but he's still a human being. You should never wish injury on ANYONE.

The Sox didn't 'let him go.' If anything, he was taken from Boston by a competent FO (thankfully, for you guys, the Boston FO has improved quite a bit since then.)

Also, take your own advice. Get over this.

Exactly. I was feeling like s*** for awhile too, especially with that huge crater we had in CF, but now it's filled with Coco, and Johnny's gone. What are you gunna do about it? Nothing. He's a Yankee now. Boo him, cheer him, do whatever you want, the point is no matter what Johnny said, baseball is a business, and for another 12 million, you would probably go as well. That's the bottom line. Thank Johnny for the WS, then choose to cheer or boo him, whichever you want, but bitching about it won't help.

the red sox had targeted coco crisp a year and half ago because they knew damon would command big money and guess what the red sox front office was right. he went for the big money.
