One of the best games I've ever said. Vince Young is absolutely amazing -- I can't remember a performance like that! I think he proved himself to be the best player in the Nation with this one. Absolutely unstoppable -- no matter what USC did.

Lendale White's pretty good too.

Heh, maybe SportsCenter was being too presumptous in comparing USC to all those "other great teams"; that they couldn't even beat their opponent this year, squashes all that talk.

Yep, they kept bringing up how Vince Young gave them lockerroom material by guarenteeing a win at the Heisman ceremony and how he has a Rose tattooed on him (which has to do with the 5 women that played important roles in his life and nothing to do with the Rose Bowl) and all that stuff... well, ESPN gave Texas all the lockerroom material they needed by talking about how great USC was and ignoring Texas. Tha's the biggest reason I wanted Texas to win, perhaps that makes them think twice before doing stupid things like that.

As for Lendale -- man, he's amazing. I've been saying all year, Reggie Bush may be the best player in the country (which is in question, now), but Lendale White was the best RB in the Nation.

On another note, Vince Young's heisman pose with the glass football was great! :D

This college Bowl season has been incredible.

Most of the games have been highly competitive and highly entertaining.

Too bad the NCAA and the networks continue to put so many of them on so late at night. People can't always watch the ends of these games, and there have been some amazing endings.

Yeah, that was amazing, although I think Young wants that Heisman so much he is going to stay in Texas one more year, to try and get it. I think he should go in the draft, because he won't get drafted if he gets hurt in the college season, but if he gets hurt in the NFL he will already have a team.

Yeah Young's in pretty much the same situation (draft-wise), presumably, as he would be next year. Right now Bush is a "lock" for the number one pick, and it's a toss-up between him and Leinart for the first QB pick, but next year he might be competing w/ Brady Quinn. Not to mention some dude is probably going to pop on the radar from nowhere. Leinart stayed for his senior season, had better numbers, yet his stock is "lower" than it would have been had he gone.

I wish you guys could only see about how much burnt orange I now see on a daily basis. It's sickening. TUCK FEXAS!

LOL! Well I'm just emerging from the shock and despair I was in after the game up until about yesterday. As a hardcore Trojan fan, let me say I have nothing but the utmost respect for Young and his team deserved to win. They played like they wanted it more and better said, they expected to win, even when down by 2 scores with under 5 min. left in the game. I pretty much assumed at that point we had the game won and I knew the second we did not convert on that 4th and 2 that Young was going to come right down the field (like he had all night) and score. Final outcome aside, for me this one of the greatest games I've ever seen. Both teams won and lost with class (unlike that p.o.s. Vick) and I can only hope we get as entertaining a championship game next year.

Leinart didn't lost the game with class. "We're still a better team"

Like the class Young showed with the Heisman pose right? In a vacuum both comments or actions can be taken the wrong way. But I know Leinart went into the lockeroom after the game and personally congratulated Brown and Young for the win. I'm not going to hold a comment made in the heat of competition against him after his defense failed to get a stop when they needed it most to win the game.
