Well my mom has a book named Old Hoss but he's from Boston so I don't think I have the right one.

I had a 50/50 chance by agreeing with you...I liked those odds.

ok this is not real yankee trivia but its a yankee-sox game trivia.....i want to see if anyone can get. April 14, 1967 second game of the year. Billy Rohr pitched a 1 hitter for Boston. Here are the Questions. What Yankee Batter hit the ball that Yaz made a tremendous catch on, who broke up Rohr's no hitter and who caught the final out of the game?

Your second choice was correct. Horace Clarke.

yea, I was thinking Kent Bottenfield because I knew he was called Hoss, but it wasnt like a common thing. Lol and I only know because Ive been organizing baseball cards the last few weeks and it said "Hoss" on the back of a Bottenfield card...but then I remembered Clarke.

Yaz made the catch on Tom Tresh and Tony C. caught the final out?

it was a down time then for the yankees so im sure many of their fans don't remember it too well.

was that a subtle implication that we're frontrunners or were you seriously just stating that?

im not saying your front runners because alot of yankee fans are not but the yanks were not very good back then so many people might not even remember it.

In 1962, the Yankees won their last Championship before the Mantle/Ford/Maris team crumbled to the basement and oblivion for a few years. Who made the last out of that World Series and who caught the ball?

Cepeda

I wouldnt have known that one lol, I do know however that Mays was on deck in '51 for the Shot heard round the world...kida irrelevent though

Cepeda is right. Very impressive Pinstrip Pride.

I was teaching myself about random Yankee World Series teams and Cepeda's name stuck because his first name is Orlando, reminding me of OCab from 2004.
