LOL Yeah not just Live though. I agree sometimes they either overrate things or underrate guys. But its a great game. Marion's a 91 but still...I really meant the media.

And I meant EVERYONE. He's definetly one of the best defensive players in the league.

True true...Marions a beast defensively and hes been guarding guys bigger than him and doing a very good job. He's a natural SF and been playing the PF position.

This is getting ridiculous. I mean, no offense, MGB... Amare is ahead of Elton Brand in the balloting? Amare hasn't played at all this year. If he was playing, then I wouldn't have a problem with him being ahead of Brand.

Oh well, I just have to deal with the fact that ASG is a popularity contest, always has been, always will be.

Its a shame Pierce is as low as he is. In my eyes, he should be starting small forward for the East. The guy is shooting just under 50%, 44% 3 pointers, getting 9 rebounds a game, 4 assists, and around 1.5 steals a game. Pretty damn impressive if you ask me.

He's looked almost like Jordan, I mean 9 RPG for someone his size is really good. Although his stats scoring or stealing wise haven't been Jordan good, Jordan was the one who was 6'6" yet could rebound as if he were about 6'8" or 6'9"

:o I didn't realize, but I agree with you...that's kinda like what happened with Nomar this past year. The ASG is a popularity contest, and sadly EB is given NOTHING from fans. HE DESERVES a spot, AT LEAST. I agree with JimBrown, fan voting is horseshit (exhibit A: Yao). But yeah your right it is rediculous. YH013, how low is Paul? And whats up with fan voting in Boston...no fans that care or just no love?

EDIT: I looked at the link after I posted. WOW, there will be some deserved guys that won't make it, but also some guys who make it that shouldn't. And Camby should start over Yao, yet Yao has like 500,000 or so more votes than him.

*Cough* Marcus Camby *Cough* Yao will take the starting sport, which Camby has deserved so far, and I think, I guess he could take second place.

Exactly. I agree that's why I said (in the post you quoted) that Camby should start over Yao but hes got 500,000 more votes.

He'll probably finish like 1,000,000 more votes, since it IS China.

Yup just like he had so many last year too. He gets probably a good 80-85% of his votes from there. If it weren't for overseas voting, he would have to either be a huge US favorite (which I don't see him as such, but I could be wrong) or have a monster first half to get in.

I love Darrell Armstrong.

He's also the one that did a reverse layup in the slam dunk contest.

I believe he missed his first two attempts, then backed up like he was going to attempt a free throw line dunk... and ended up doing a reverse layup.

I think you're looking for "fined", not "fired"? It does change the meaning, quite a bit.

Whoa, thanks for the heads up.

PS -

Was that a payback? :) :D

Wow, we beat Charlotte (a must-win anyway).

Anyway, Kaman was a monster. 22 points, 22 rebounds  . Elton Brand - 38 points, 20 rebounds.

And Arenas drops 41, Jamison had 22, and Butler had 26.

Good game though. Thanks again Rick for all that you have done, I really enjoyed myself. :D

We got them at their place tonight.

'Melo had 45 last night in a Nuggets loss.

I'm really sick of this team and their half-ass effort, aside from a few players. I say keep 'Melo, Camby, and Earl Watson and get rid of the rest.

LOL. Your up for completely re-tooling your entire team? :dunno:

I'd love to trade Maggette for Artest. Maggette is an injury prone. Wait, there's no differrence... Artest will miss 25% of the season because of suspensions like Maggette will because of injuries.
