LeBron James made up for his late offensive foul with a huge block on Rose. Game is going into overtime I really wish I can watch the rest of this game. Miami has never lost in overtime in the playoffs either.

Damn it, that's the absolute worst scenario for me. On the bright side, one of them is guaranteed to lose, but the bad thing is that one of them is guaranteed to win. I still don't know who to root for. I might actually be leaning towards Miami, since the only teams I'd pick Miami over would be Dallas and the Lakers.

Lebron continues to show why he is the best player in the NBA. The way he played Defense on Rose in the 4th and in overtime was crazy.

 

Edit: and Im definitely rooting for Miami to win it, just because im a big Lebron fan.

Rose has played like s*** in this series. Especially down the stretch. No-show in the 4th quarter. He deserved the MVP in the regular season. But he has completely crumbled when the games mattered most. And certainly part of that can be attributed to LeBron's D. I'm not taking anything away from what he's done on that end of the floor.

I agree with this. Id like to see Dirk get a ring, I like both him and Lebron, they are two of my favorite players, so seeing either one finally get a ring would be cool, at least in my opinion.

Mavs don't have a prayer against the Heat. They can put LeBron on Dirk. It's exactly the kind of matchup Dirk hates the most, somebody who defends underneath him and gives him no room to breathe. He's a small forward in a big man's body. That's how Golden State owned Dallas in 2007. Miami doesn't sacrifice a thing by putting Bosh (quick for his size/position) on Marion (not an offensive threat). Other than that, it's the simple fact that Miami has two superstars, both of which are better than Nowitzki. The Heat would have to try to lose this.

I think that LeBron would give Dirk some trouble, but you're overstating the advantage that gives Miami because he won't guard him till the end of the game, if at all.

Who else would LeBron guard? Marion's not nearly enough of an offensive threat to warrant sticking LeBron on him. Ditto with Stojakovic, he can't create jack for himself, it's just a matter of not letting him get free.

They're not going to ask LBJ to have to deal with Dirk for 40 minutes, especially considering how easily that could get him into foul trouble.

Dirk should have got a ring 2006 but the Mavs blew that big lead in game 3 to go up 3-0 in the series . Also got screwed by the refs in that game big time .

That was karma for them screwing the Spurs in 2006. Granted, the Spurs more than made up for it, so I'm happy, but the Mavs were lucky enough to make it to the finals, let alone having a shot at winning it.
