Spurs vs Nuggets

Get ready Ital.

Duncan injured, Nuggets on a roll and at home, Spurs having locked up a playoff spot ages ago, I think I'll pass on this one. Enjoy your win and I'll catch you next game. ZZZZZ.

And even after all of that, the Spurs only lost by 3. Not bad.

Leon Powe has been humiliating Troy Murphy. I hadn't been watching Murphy before he came to Boston... Maybe the Celtics hadn't watched him either...

I'm used to the losses by now, at this point I'm fine with it and I'm hoping for us to win the draft lottery and get Derrick Williams. This season has been over for a while, especially with all the injuries.

What an awesome season for the Bulls. Pulling away from the Celtics. Rose should win MVP and Thibs should win Coach of the Year. I knew they were going to be good this year, but not this good. I thought, at best, they could be the #3 seed in the East. As it stands now, they have as good a chance as anyone at winning it all.

Fair enough, although I never said I didn't care about winning. I just hope that Rose and Thibs get the recognition they deserve.

Beastly game from Rose against a good defense, 30 and 17. Willed the Bulls to victory. I love all of the MVP chants he gets on the road.

Rose is incredible, IMO there's no way he doesn't get it. Bull got their new franchise player to build around.

The worst seven minutes of basketball are being played by the Wizards and Jazz.

No kidding , but its nothing new for the Wizards, they usually play like this every game.

They can't blow this lead' date=' can they?[/quote']

it wouldn't of surprised me if they did. Last week against the Clippers they had 7 point lead with a minute left and they let the Clippers tie the game and eventually lost in double overtime.

Anyway, Jordan Crawford is really looking like he is going to be a solid NBA player.

Ignorance. I've seen him play all season, and he's the real deal. He's carried the Bulls. No doubt Howard and LeBron are great players, but Rose has taken his game to another level this year. And while some of you will scoff at this, he's a helluva lot more clutch than Howard and LeBron. When the game is on the line, you want the ball in his hands. He has come through time and time again. Put the ball in Howard's hands, foul him, and watch him shoot two bricks; that's not a closer. LeBron and Howard can't close games like Rose, just like they can't close games like Kobe. Rose is a dominant point guard. Aren't too many of those.

I'm anticipating another asinine attack from JE about how I'm a Joe fan who doesn't know s***.

Howard and Lebron are both better candidates' date=' but I think Rose wins because of media hype.[/quote']

Is this serious?

Looooooooool it sounded like you were serious so let me put my two cents in. LeBron gets more hype than Rose therefore LeBron would win it. So I'm not sure what you were trying to say.

If this post was joking around at least throw a sign that will let us know that you were being sarcastic.

His numbers are virtually identical to Russell Westbrook, yet there is no discussion about him being the MVP. Rose also loses value, because he is a poor defender. Despite this, the Bulls still have one of the top defenses in the NBA. Even without Rose on the floor the Bulls manage to outscore their opponents by 4.9 every 100 possessions.

Dwight Howard and Lebron James both add value, because of their defensive abilities. I think that should put them over Rose, but I still think Rose will win, because the Bulls are unexpectedly in first place.

Did you really just post an article defending LeBron's candidacy over Rose's?

I'm going to honor your name by buying a big bag of Mini-Pretzels and enjoying the ensuing shitstorm. /cueLebronhaters.

I think you're confusing "Player of the Year" and "Most Valuable Player". They're two very separate things. If it were player of the year, yeah maybe Lebron gets it, but Rose is without a doubt the most valuable player to his team out of all players and teams.

What makes them separate?

The point about Rose's defense is a valid one. I'd give the award to Dwight. Almost everyone would agree that he's the most valuable defensive player in the NBA, and he's also extremely important (and dominant) on the offensive end.

I really really really wanna see Super Dwight win a championship. For that reason, i wish he ends up with the Lakers, even if in a couple of years..
