Didn't Penny Hardaway have something similar? We've seen what that's done to his career. I hope Amare makes a full recovery.

 

yeah it was terrible what happened to him after the surgery. The guy was an amazing all around talent until the surgery. Some guys do make a full recovery like J Kidd, though he hasn't been the same since it. He's missed I think somehting like 20 game s ayear since he had it.

Thing with that surgery is that he has every card in his favor.

 

-Youngest guy to have it meaning he has had less wear on his body then the other guys who had it and weren't the same

-Major athletic talent. All the other guys weren't so athletically talented as him.

-He did his homework on the surgery before it happened, and in local interviews he says he won't come back until he is ready.

-His fracture was a smaller one than all the others.

 

Trust me, all of us in Arizona are waiting, and hoping that he fully recovers.

its not ownage. It's you guys taking everyone else's word, and running with it. You guys probably heard every analysis on sports center, say MJ was the best, MJ is the best. But that doesn't make him, the best. You have to look around, at what MJ had around him, you have to look now at what Kobe has around him. You cannot just turn on ESPN, and get your answers off of there, that is gay. I've talked to 10 people today(yes, i've counted) that agree with me. Who cares who MJ had around him during his championship years? Take a look at who Kobe had around him during his championship years and you tell me that Kobe had no one around him. Kobe shoots that much because he has no one around him, and he scores that much. So what? The guys a good player, fine, but when it comes down to it, I'd rather have MJ than Kobe. OK, wow. If your going to agree that Kobe had a cast and STILL criticize MJ because he had a cast, you make a lewd point. Kobe raped some girl? Funny, I don't remember that being proven. In fact, I remember a substantial amount of information that pointed to his innocence. Say what you want about his infidelity, but Jordan wasn't exactly a saint in that regard.

 

Besides, guys, that has absolutely no place in a basketball debate.
