I think your team is done. After a 9-2 win in the Bronx today, with Curt Schilling pitching phenominal. You know, the same Curt that you continue to criticize:

 

I guess calling in morning talk shows on his own is not trying to get attention when he was injured. He couldn't stand not being in the spotlight when he was injured so he took it upon himself to call these shows and say "Hey i'm still around!!". He's been that way is whole career, it has nothing to do with what team he plays for. that whole bloody sock thing was a farce anyway. If your bleeding usually the spot will enlarge and not be in the shape of a square. Now I'm not saying it wasn't real blood, but if he was bleeding the spot would have gotten bigger and the stain would've been a big non shaped stain. I think he did that to make him a immortal. Pennington is coming off major surgery, and Eli Manning was hurt in the preseason and sucked majorly last year, thats the QB situation

Eli will be ready for game 1 and can only improve. Pennington has looked fine in preseason. I don't see any situation.

Baseball- If your counting the Yankees out already, thats the stupidest thing you could do. To tell you the truth, the past 11 have been Yankees in first and Red Sox in second, and I expect nothing less this year. This series isn't the most pure baseball one I've ever seen. Errors won it for the Yankees yesterday, Errors won it for the Sox today. The Yankees trouble came to them in the beginning of the season, the Soxs are coming now. The Sox have more pitching than the Yankees, but thats not saying much. I can't defend them more than what they've done, but it'd just be stupid to count us out already.

 

Football-Chad Pennington threw a 48 yard TD pass in the playoffs with a tornrotator cuff......now its not torn, so to you:

Heh, sounds like something Yankee fans did about some old guy the plays in Boston about 2-3 weeks ago. So your saying counting Curt Schilling was stupid then right???

 

Oh and for the record, I'm not counting them out yet, but its nice to have at least one victory in the series against them. And a win Sunday would make our position even better with NYY playing against Tampa this week.

You need to quickly analyze things before you talk about them...Chad has been fine so far...no problems.

 

But I agree, I think Eli still has to prove he is a quality QB

WELL, maybe you didn't on here, BUT I know thats TONS of people (Yankee fans too) counted him out and us too because "You don't know what your getting out of Foulke and Schilling..." BLAH BLAH BLAH. Yankee fans can deny it all they want (I don't think I saw you specifically RedRuffing15) but my point is, the consensus among Yankee fans was that Schilling pitching in the rotation was a horrible idea. Harold Reynolds picked the Yankees because of Curt's lack of time as well as Foulke. And as sure as the Red Sox won 9-2 today, Harold Reynolds will back-pedal with his remarks.

 

I know what Tex said, I read it. I personally am not counting the Yankees out, not yet at least. Not until we have clinched.
