What about the jackass heckler in Tampa? He sits near the broadcast booth and you can always hear him heckling the opponent on TV.

I'm almost laughing right now. Thank god when you lose by that much they dont count the game as 2.

Good point. There are upsides to games like these; these games, you can't do anything, you just move on. Same can't be said for one run games...

agreed, you have to try and stay positive. With this loss and Mussina going down its hard to but if you take it just one game at a time. Hopefully we smack Kirk Sarloos around tomorrow and Small gives us some innings.

I am laughing right now ATG, how can you not be. These losses are much easier for my heart and health than the one run games. Gotta find the silver lining in these situations hahah.

lol same here. Sometimes I wonder if watching the Yankees from game 4 of the ALCS to now have taken a few years off my life.

I'm with you two. I know it's a long shot, but I can't help but remember that 13 run inning. :dunno:

The one off Travis Harper? Billy Beane wouldn't let Travis Harper pitch for the A's low-A team.

Yeah I agree ATG. They have already left 6 runners on base (if my calculations..or memory...serves me right). What is up with that? The problem now is that everyone is gonna try to hit a home-run (as Sierra tried to do) and they will get no where fast.

The Yankees must lead the league in most runners left on base. If you watch each game on a consistant basis you know what I'm talking about. This was an inning a few weeks ago:

A-Rod lead off double

Jorge Posada K's

Tino Martinez K's

Tony Womack K's

You have to wonder what are they thinking when they go up to the plate.

I never like to question a teams effort but it looks like the Yankees are sleep walking which has been a constant theme this season.

Don't take this the wrong way, because its not coming from the Red Sox fan part of me. The Yankees don't seem like a team at all. They have no "charisma guy" that can hold the clubhouse together. It probably stems from the Boss's behavior/grooming mandates. I think it is something that the FO needs to reasses.
