well just worthy pointing out he was in the national league the first 6 seasons of his career, then moving to a different team and league altogether plus having frayed rotator cuff, sometimes its all just mental

true. i dont think anymore major trades (burnett, romero) will happen for atleast 2 more days maybe even up to the deadline.

Miller at the top of his game is better than Arroyo at the top of his. They hit similar velocities on the gun, but Miller's FB has much more movement. Both have excellent curves. If the deal involves Arroyo, Miller becomes our #5. I'd like to have a #5 that can throw like he did tonight.

see how his stuff is, friday july 29, game 1 against Minnesota Twins at home. where his ERA is better--Im optimistic, because he is known to have great second halfs, and Ive been startin to see something since the win against the Texas Rangers

That's all true riverside, but I think it's still just the injury. I think next season or maybe(hopefully) later this season we will see the old Wade Miller, no matter what league he's in.

pretty good if he could do wat he did in 2002 again this year and next

He was also 16-8 in 2001. And in '04, he was only 7-7, but his ERA was 3.35. This guy would be known across the league as a great pitcher if he wasn't so damn injury prone.

Maybe. I wouldn't give up any of our top prospects for him. I don't even wanna give up Bronson, but I probably would.

I'd trade Arroyo, he's never going to be dominant, he's a decent starter who'll post a 3.80-4.20 ERA each year. Burnett on the other hand has the chance to be a 2.50-3.00 with that stuff.

I keep hearing about this "stuff" he has. Then, why isn't he a better pitcher. Why is ERA over 5 on the road. I'm lost...

He has been injured prior to this year, and I'm more of a "What have you done lately" kind of guy.

Darren Erstad, aka David Duval, needs a hit here so Vlad can break some NY hearts again tonight.

Got a hit, but Figgins blew it. Now Vlad lines out.
