chill the f*** out big papi...no where did i say he should be ashamed of being of dominican descent. you have no idea what i am. ill tell you this much, im not a "full bred proud american", i became a citizen. maybe thats why it pisses me off more that someone that is (alex rodriguez) would choose not to represent their country that they were born in and try to play for the domincans because they have the best team in the tourney.

Well i am sorry then. It is just the way you came across in your posts that made me reply like that.

What the hell does that have to do with anything? Could you ever put together a valid arguement?

I know the guy lives in New York, likes the Rangers as well as the Knicks. Make sense?

THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA mr rodriguez...love it or leave it you stupid bitch.

trust that all of NY is all over A-Rod for this....

appearantly hes doing it to make up for neglecting his dominican heritage last year at some point, dont remember all the specifics

Whatever it's fine...let him do what he wants. I won't hate him any "more" for representing a country that he is a part of. I could care less if he wanted to represent Lebanon...why do people care THAT MUCH?

I really am tired of everyone picking on Alex! Would you all be wining and bitching if he were allowed to come to Boston? I am a Boston fan and still I admire Alex. He is a great player with superb talent. Stop telling him what he should do or shouldn't do, The baseball union has done enough of that to last a lifetime, or at least 10 years.

Who cares what country he is playing for? He'd be a douche bag no matter if he played for USA, DR, or no where. I hope he plays and gets hurt. Go A-hole.

Really classy! You don't even know the guy and your making judgments simply on the fact that he plays for The Yankees. If you recall he had all the plans of coming to Boston with a cut in is salary, but it was the BASEBALL UNION that stopped it, not him.

or maybe it's cause he slapped a ball out of someones hands? just a thought.

Heh, JohnnyDug, in your sig I've always said it as "A-Rod sucks the Big Unit," but I guess your way works.

Anyway, back to the topic, I hate A-Rod not for the fact that he didn't come to Boston. For the 109353262536636th time for all you pro-A-Rod people: WE DON'T HATE HIM FOR NOT COMING TO BOSTON!!!! WE HATE HIM FOR BEING AN *******! Example: Slapping the ball out of Arroyo's hand, which was fine in the heat of the moment and everything, but then he went on to say it was a "good play" and he didn't know why he was called out. I mean, WHAT THE f***ING f***??!?! That's why. He's just an idiot. I admire his talent, yes, he has great talent. But seriously, bitch please.

He's right. It has nothing to do wtih him not being a Red Sox, or him being a Yankee, it has everything to do with him being an A-hole.

Hey just for old times sake lets relive that whole slapping at the ball thing.

Come on ... what's not to love about this guy?

Who the hell cares.

If you think that's something to bitch about, why not take your reasoning to its logical conclusion and bitch about why none of the Boston Red Sox are from Boston.

It was on a shirt outside of Fenway. I died laughing..

oh and you are very right. we hate A-Rod cause he's a frickin loser, not cause he isnt on the sox and, yes, he's good...but so are a dozen other mlb players that arent as over-rated, over-payed and cheating.

This is a good country; however, some Americans sense of entitlement to everyone is an example of why international ppl hate our guts. Shocker, huh? <_>

So it's settled, according to International Baseball Federation rules, A-Rod has to play for the U.S. after all, because players play in their country of birth. In Olympic competition, it's allowed for a U.S. citizen to represent another country; are they planning on a citizenship policy that to presidential candidacy stipulations?!

I mean c'mon now...we can't deny Alex's feelings - quote from NY Daily News:

"I feel very Dominican," he said.

...What's it like, what's it like, I wanna know?!

The D.R. lineup is loaded even w/o him; just hope the U.S. pitching will do a good job. LOL, Dontrelle "trying out" for the team... :)

Believe me, if that made the slightest bit of sense, or if your 'point' resembled the original topic in the slightest bid... I would.
