I'm putting my perfect record on the line here for Game Threads... and with David Wells on the mound no less. I'm off to work, but I figured I'd start one early since the Orioles are playing the Tribe at 1:35. God I hope we win today, I can't bear back to back series losses... :(

This'll be the last sox game I'm gonna catch in a while. I'm off to France for two weeks later in the day. Maybe I'll post from there, maybe not.

tonites pitcher is left-handed pitcher Gustavo Chacin which sox players have just faced once career wise... sooo ugh tito, yes everyone knows that in the past trot has done bad against leftys but enough is enough. Try him out for this one game at least cuz he is so far battin .300 this season off of them

No Wells is pitching. The article was saying that if Mantei was to go on the DL, the Sox would consider bringing in a starter if Wells was to have any future problems.

I think we'll come back strong after last nights debockel.

 

Boys I'm watching the pre-game stuff. In the background you can see Fenway and all the people hanging out waiting to go inside. I love going to Fenway. I wish I had season tickets, free train tickets, free parking at Riverside Station, oh ya and food and beer at the game. Note to self... If I find an old lamp rub it and the first wish be the hole free everything for sox games! Oh course my second wish would be world hunger, then my third wish would be to own the food company that solved the world hunger problem making me very rich!

Abe Alvarez picture looks like an idiot! His stats down in AAA don't look all that great either. It's funny when they try to explain why a guy is put on the DL when he really isn't hurt in order to call up someone else from AAA for another need.

I think Alvarez's numbers are impressive. Who has better numbers that impress you more? But bottom line is numbers dont win you ball games. I hate the way he wears his hat too!

I never really understood this, but maybe someone could explain it to me. Players stats in the minors are basiclly what they have for stats in the rookie/2nd seasons. Wouldn't it make sense that a player good enough for the majors would have better stats in the minors? This could also be the amount of benadyl I took today making it hard for me to remember my name no less understanding the improbables of baseball.

tito the club needs trot in tonight, 2 plays jay has messed up in right field. trying to slide for a catch that lead to a triple RBI. then charging for a ball hit towards him and instead of throwing it to home, threw it to 1st. arghhh
