You do a lot of talking and your team SUCKS (brutally honest). See, we know how to enjoy the season and can let our team do the talking for us, but you for some reason feel the need to prance around on a Red Sox website and constantly remind us of your stupidity, therefore we will remind you how your team is playing.

Also to note: I realize you won't read this until your team starts winning a few games and you come back.

You keep thinking they Suck and that's gonna come back bite you in the ass. You can't let a team like the yankees hang around still in the race. wow we are 5 games from first, yea I guess our team is done with not even half the season gone yet. You really are in denial. but I guess I can forgive you because your a sox fan. Oh by the way my team is winning, they lost yesterday, wow I guess that whole can't win them all thing is true. the same thing happened to the Sox last year. we will see and when they go to playoffs again you'll know your whole the Yankees are't a good team will come back and bite you in the ass.

Actually that's 6.5 out, and I don't know how long your going to say their going to stay in the race.

Your team is old, has no chemistry, and inconsistent starting pitching. You have zero help on the way. The Yankees aren't dead, but they will struggle to win the Wild Card. I don't know if they can, but they do have a shot.

 will the devil rays have a winning season someday actually in the near future, maybe if they do get some veteran players and raise the salary cap a little. so far out of the first 67 games, record stands at 23 - 44. who else thinks is another season of around 100 games lost

They'll have a decent offense next year, and have a great farm system, but Lamar and Namolli need to go.

If they can't beat the bottom-of-the-barrel team in the same division five times, they haven't got a snowball's chance in hell of catching up with the division leaders.

Update on the mighty D-Rays...

4-2 going into the bottom of the third. First inning, Jose Lugo draws a four pitch walk, and Jorge Cantu launches it into left-center. Third inning, Lugo singles and Cantu decides to launch it into right center. Bam. Heh.

jeez i must say i am impressed by jorge cantu's breakout in the majors. just turnin 23 this year and is up to 11 homeruns and 40 RBI's. able to get those stats up as so far thru first 3 innings of tonites game tampa is ahead again early at 4 - 2, with cantu drivin in all 4 runs with consecutive homeruns

Well, I guess this is now the Official Devil Rays Thread:

D-Rays win 9-4, highlighted by a bases loaded, three RBI double by Hollins and Bernie Williams grounding into a double play with two on. Go, Bernie! Yaah!

We lost, oh well. Gotta hand it to the D"rays they showed heart. Something the Yankees havent showed all season... Luckily Baltimore lost so we still 5 back in 1st. 4.5 in 2nd.....

oh yeaaa, even in our off days, the currently red hot sox are making strides in the standings, with the orioles and yanks both losing tonite. we now pull within 1/2 game of tyin baltimore for 1st place as the yanks for the 2nd time this season the struggling d-rays taking 3 out of 4

baltimore...42 - 30

boston...41 - 29... 1/2 game behind

yanks........37 - 35... 5 games behind

toronto......37 - 36... 5 1/2 games behind

Tampa Bay.26 - 47... 16 games behind

yeah the only good thing about tonight is that we didin't lose any on the pace. We are one Starter and one releiver away from tearing it up and running away on a good hot streak.

Do you see the 30-minute difference in the timestamps to our posts? Thats how long it took me to stop laughing my ass off and finally be able to calm down enough to type.

Dude, for all intents and purposes you just got swept by the D-Rays.

Sorry guy - but you need a hell of a lot more than that to be an elite team again.

So what we lost a series to the Devil Rays. You guys lost series to the A's and M's who where pretty terrible. The only thing that matters is how many games we are from 1st. 5 games, wow that's it our season is over, might as well start looking forward to football. Ya know the Yanks have a tough time with the Devil Rays this year for some reason. Doesn't mean we are not a good team. Hell you guys can't beat Toronto to save your lives. Every team, every year has a team that just gives them fits. This year its the Rays, next year it could be the Twins or the A's who knows. The fact that we are only 5 games off the pace is got to be scaring the hell out of you guys. Because you all know just as I know, except those who are in denial that the Yankees will be in the thick of things in October.

Look Kreskin, just four days ago, before the Sox/Cleveland series and Rays/Yanks series, the pinstripe-pansies were just 2 games back, and you were predicting we'd be looking up at you by today. This is why ABSOLUTELY NOBODY TAKES YOU SERIOUSLY!

exactly. true i was impressed by the yanks comeback in their only win against the drays this week, scoring 13 runs in the eight inning. but yet that is the only silver lining i can see. the yanks have not been that consistent, where they will have a victory, then drop to the feet of a team with the worst road record in the majors. maybe its the roids side effects i dont know, haha. all i know is you should keep that new rookie pitcher called up for the devil rays game, he helping us out id say ;)

Lol, true we should be better than 3-9 against tampa, and Kansas City. But you fail to realize in the Bosox/Yanks series this year the Redsox are only winning by ONE game, yes ONE game. 5 wins for the sox, 4 for the Yanks. I know the posts are gonna be coming " Ohh we beat you 17-1 bla bla bla" big deal. A win is a win, you had a good game that shattered our confidence. It's going to be a long season, my friend, The Sox, the O's, The Yankees are going to be at the thick of it all. Should make for an interesting 2nd half.

Correction, you are: one first baseman, one second baseman, one catcher, one right fielder, one left fielder, one centerfielder and one GM away from tearing it up.

I beg to differ, tex.

First base is a bit shaky, but do-able, our 2nd baseman is a rookie who is playing well, our catcher calls some bad pitches and swings horribly at some pitches, but usually gives u a good outing, our right fielder is one of the best hitters in baseball so I dunno where you pulled that one from, Matsui is our Left fielder and is a very good player, Centerfield is a must, a GM is also a must.

robinson cano is one of the yankees that i do like, and I think for this being his rookie season, doing very well

The Yankees should be learning from Cano and Wang - it is better to have homegrown talent than expensive free agents. The key to trimming your payroll, improving chemistry, and building a long-term successful franchise is a strong farm system.

The sox learned that a while back, and have gone from one of the worst farm systems in baseball to a really good one... and will soon be an exceptional system.

I agree the Yankees need to get younger and its a good feeling knowing that we have a solid 2nd baseman and solid starter on our team that's yound and will be here for a long time.

Hey lightsout don't take anything serious about what that idiot says he doesn't know much about baseball, just do what I failed to do and just ignore him he tends to get on your nerves after awhile. He's kinda like a child. Ya see there I go again I can't seem to ignore him. well after this I'm gonna try, hopefully,LOL
