I agree and disagree with a lot of things that have been said. The D-rays bullpen is a nightmare with the exception of Baez. The yanks hit 4 HRs in that one inning, that's impressive. The D-rays got 7 runs off Randy Johnson, that's NOT a good sign for NY. When the Sox beat the Marlins 25-8, I left that game with a bittersweet feeling...we had given up 8 runs. Not good. Giving up 9 runs against the Guardians last night, not good. Have the Yankees bats come alive after tonights game? Who knows. Sometimes it takes playing against a s***** team to get those bats going again. Sometimes it means nothing.

If I'm a Yankee fan (also meaning I have 1/2 the IQ, no balls and no job), I'm not satisfied with the game. How many times are you going to put up 13 runs in an inning? It's not likely that you'll have that big of an inning again. So while you hold your parade for FINALLY beating the Devil Rays, Randy Johnson went 3 IP and gave up 7 ER.

Yeah, when I saw the score (11-7) I was happy, but what made me even happier was when I realized that Johnson was pitching. You may have won against the Rays, but like Calvn said its gotta be sorta "bittersweet"...gave up 11 runs to the Rays, and Randy was responsible for 7 :D

Nope ypu may think that because your not Yankee fans. A win is a win. If either its by scoring 20 runs or 1 run a win is a win. There was no bittersweet feeling at all. It actually makes us feel better being down like that and being able to come back. It gives the feeling of being down early not really stressing out about it. The real Yankees are back and here to stay. This is the type of baseball the Yanks played when we won all those Championships. Key hits and other than the last two games good pitching. Our bullpen is stronger also. i must also congradulate the Sox for winning the series against the hottest team in baseball right now the Guardians.

So being a Sox fan you have no IQ, no penis, and live at the local Y.

Ha. Tell that to the New York newspapers this morning.

NY Post - "Unit Comes Up Small"

NY Times - "It's Money for Nothing as Yankees Starters Labor"

NY Newsday - "Big Inning Aside, Big Unit is a Big Problem"

.... The real Yankees are back and here to stay.....

The real Yankees are one miraculous inning away from being swept at the stadium by the team in baseball with the worst record and slightly more than one tenth of their payroll. Put that in your pipe and smoke it Cleopatra.......Queen of DENIAL!

And a happy update, games over. Tampa Bay wins 5-3 on two blasts, a tworunner and a threerunner, and Yankees score on Sheffoids tworunner and a feeble groundout by Cano. The real Tampa Bay is back, baby!

one inning away from taking 2 out of 3...

sorry had to be a nitpicker

No, I got it right....I posted after they won today, I was referring to the 13 run eighth they had yesterday.

Actually, I hate to be a nitpicker (haha) but the D-Rays and Yankees will hook up again tomorrow (it's a 4 game set) so the Rays would have to win tomorrow to make that statement true.

Best case senario for the Yankees is a split against the D-Rays.... That's still pretty bad.

How about THIS to put you in your place, douchebag:

The Yankees had an *awesome* comeback against a pathetic closer with an ERA the same as my brothers age, and you guys whooped and hollered. Your ace billion dollar starter gave up 7 runs in three innings to the exact opposites of the defintion "power hitters'....and your other "ace" just lost to the same team. You think because four home runs, at least one of which was off of what was most likely enough steroids to tranqulize a blue whale, is going to atone for them pitching like my grandfather?

Yankees suck, thats all there is to it right now. A burst of power hitting is all theyre capapble of, and that is NOT getting you far this year, not with the Sox, O's, Jay's, and even the f***ing D-Rays playing ACUTAL BASEBALL.

Shmuck.

So let me get this straight..

If Baltimore loses to Toronto tonight, the Yanks are 1 game out of 4th place. And if Toronto loses to Baltimore tonight the Yanks will be 6 games out.

I guess the Yanks could hope for a rainout in Toronto  .

Bernie Williams had this to say about last nights "blowout comeback"

"If there's a turning point to the season, this should be it," Williams added. "Being frustrated, having seen Randy get out of the game the way he did, it was just great for us to score the amount of runs we did."

... guess it wasn't the "turning point" they hoped it would be. :)

Oh my god the yankees beat the al mighty D-rays. You guys must feel really proud.

But back to the topic. In a few years kazmir is going to be huge and rocco baldelli is good too. Carl crawford is a speed king and upton is valuable.

Yea and if the sox did that against the rays you would be saying WOW what a comeback. Why don't you guys look past your diluted hatred for all things Yankees and give credit where credit is do. You guys think the baseball world revolves around the Red Sox. 86 years of heartache. Why don't you get over yourselves and realize that Chicago has been waiting longer and has more tradition than Boston could ever hope to have. Face it the red Sox are a regular team now and you guys have nothing to bitch about anymore. I think that makes sox fans even more miserable because they have nothing to complain about. you see i complain when my team loses because I'm a fan but I don't go bashing any other team because my team is not in first place, yet. I just bash there fans that don't have a inkling of BASEBALL knowledge that goes past there team. I respect the SOX for what they have done and how long they've been playing baseball, but I would never put them down if thay have a 13 run inning to come back and win against the worst club in baseball. Baseball is a crazy game and anyone can beat anyone. so lets shut up and enjoy the season and let our respective teams do the talking on the diamond for us.

You do a lot of talking and your team SUCKS (brutally honest). See, we know how to enjoy the season and can let our team do the talking for us, but you for some reason feel the need to prance around on a Red Sox website and constantly remind us of your stupidity, therefore we will remind you how your team is playing.

Also to note: I realize you won't read this until your team starts winning a few games and you come back.

And Jorge Cantu is making a name for himself at 3B.
