Anybody else see Schilling speak for President Bush? I forgot where it was, but I saw it on News Hour last night.

I have lost all respect for him.

I hope you are kidding.

I guess I haven't lost full repsect for Schill.

But it hurts me to learn that he's on the dark side.

Noah flip-flops too much. I'm surprised he supports Kerry ;) .

I'm one of the larger liberals there is, and I, too, was shocked when Schill came out to campaign for Bush. He's the star pitcher on a team from BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS, perhaps the most liberal city in America and home to Kerry.

He has every right to express his beliefs, I was just surprised that he did. Maybe he's trying to win New Hampshire for Bush? In any case, vote Kerry this year. :D

I agree on some matters with bush and some matters with kerry. I wouldn't go as far to say noah is right or wrong. It is certainly going to be close.

Noah and Yeszir--

There are some effective weight-loss plans available for large people such as yourselves. :)

Sports Star = Public Figure

If he wants to endorse a candidate it is his own business. He can endorse Pee Wee Herman or Tiny Tim for all I care.

It's not like his endorsement changed my vote. And if it changed anyone's personal vote, that's really sad. That's exactly why I rented Fahrenhieght 9/11 last weekend. I wanted to see it, but didn't want it to influence my vote. In the end, it wouldn't have anyway.

it supposedly has potential for curing that disease and others. But not proven yet, which is of course why they should restrain people from using it for research. Because at this rate the answer to your question will be no..

Can you imagine someon saying they would vote for bush becasue schilling endorsed him.

I say I dont give a f*** if he votes for Bucky Dent for president as long he pitches well and gets healthy. He's entitled to say what he wants, vote for who he wants, use his celebrity to push whatever he wants.

Clearly, he's a misguided moron, but if he keeps pitching like he did, I'll love him as a pitcher as much or more than I do now.

This definitly just sums up the entire problem. Noone is gonna change who their voting for because their favorite sports player votes for them.

I think Sara just closed this one up.

i agree with yeszir. i heard schill on radio this morning. he said he regretted doing it when he did it becuase he felt he retracted from what he had done. basically realizes raging liberals like us are unhappy (except for you dortiz4pres--you donkey)

I saw a bumper sticker at one point that had one picture of an elephant raping a donkey, and a pitcure right next to it of a donkey raping an elephant. Underneath, it said, "Same f***ing difference." I thought it was hilarious.
