OK enough with this crappy play against mediocre teams. Schill pitches awesome tonight and the offense breaks through, led by the suddenly hot Brian Dabach, to crush Toronto. Our next ten games are against Toronto and Tampa Bay, so I expect at least 7 victories iout of this stretch. We need to get hot just in time for Nomar and Trot so we can keep rolling after that. Just win.

this is the 3rd meeting between Schill and Batista???

i remember only 1 other one where Schill pitched a great game with the exceptions of an allowed grand slam...

They mentioned on NESN last night that this would be the 3rd meeting. But I'll make sure with a little research.

EDIT- It is in fact the 3rd meeting.

I'm starting a new drinking game tonight and you should play along!

Every time Bellhorn botches a play, take a swig.

Every bobble of the ball. Every out-of-position play. Every bad throw. Every swinging 3rd strike. Every passed ball on a pick-off play at second. Every bad baserunning play. Every time another player gets an error because Bellhorn can't catch a ball thrown to the right field side of second. Every messed up DP. Every time he hits a pop-up with a runner at 3rd and less than 2 outs. Every time he can't advance a runner. Every time he blows a bunt. Every time he takes a called 3rd strike and stands there staring at his feet.

Oye. I already feel a hangover coming on.

OH GREAT, CRESPOS PLAYING...

Terry was smart enough not to use Bellhorn at 2nd on turf. THANK GOD or else we'd still be in the second..

It's gonna cut down on my drinking though - which sucks.
