Joel Sherman: Yankees Interested in Red Sox Infielder David Hamilton

i'd trade him for a box of Cracker Jacks. 

My only hesitancy is that for some reason, the Stankees seem to have an elixir that enables guys to excel there for a brief time before turning into pumpkins once they leave the Bronx.

I’m just envisioning him having one hit later in the year that kills us.

We seemingly got away with Narvaez, do we dare tempt fate twice in 9 months?

We can do better.  2 boxes (double the prize).

Hamilton can be useful if you can afford to carry a pinch runner. Teams sometimes do that down the stretch.

the Yankees have a guy in AAA named Duke Ellis that they used last year for that very thing. and i tell ya'....that boy can flat out fly.

For a solid arm maybe...
