    I think Montgomery is a top 25 prospect by the end of the year, but there is some swing and miss to his game! and although he is listed as a switch hitter, he is definitely much better from the left side and we already have a few good lefty bats in the lineup the defense is also above average now and can only get better! I suspect he will be in Chicago in two years, maybe less!!!!Chicago was right to target him!

    I think it would take a monster spring training for Anthony to start the year with Boston. So for now I have him starting the year in Worcester! I see our opening day outfield as Duran-rafeala-abreau. With refsynder as the 4th outfielder! I think abreau makes a year two improvement offensively while decreasing strike outs a bit! Defensively he remains above average I think rafeala makes a year two improvement offensively and cuts down on his strike outs a bit while playing above average defensive. But rafeala’s offensive trajectory is tied to the health of story and how much time he spends bouncing around the infield! duran has to have some regression in his offensive numbers, but should still be above average offensively and average defensively I think we have one of the best young outfields in baseball and with Anthony on the doorstep, we have tremendous quality depth as well

    There are 2 veteran catchers who are known for their defense, but have no bat available

    I wonder if bres-slow is still working on Seattle for a starting pitcher! You have to think of it was just Castillo, he could get a deal done by now!! maybe bres-slow is after one of the young starters or dipito is looking for a bigger trade???

    I am so confused by the Red Sox strategy! We make plays for Soto, fried and who knows who else and then abandon the strategy and go to trading the prospects we just spent 3 years accumulating!!!

    Because with the arm drag in his delivery, it is only a matter of time before the ucl pops again. Simple physics !!! now if Bailey and driveline get him to alter his delivery, he can go for years without needing surgery again.

    Cannarella is an amazing hitter for Clemson. Dude feasts on fastballs and sliders! He is meidroth in the outfield

    I think the pirates, mariners and braves have some Intriguing young arms. We should be talking to them every day

    There are only 3 types of pitchers in the world! Healthy pitchers, injured pitchers and rehabbing pitchers!!!!! I think the chances of running into injury prone pitchers is rising every year maybe even exponentially

    Logically after we said no thanks on Anthony, Mayer or Campbell would be the next prospects discussed!

    Teams are desperate for pitching. I am sure we would be talking to him sooner or later. those post season innings only means we are talking about him sooner rather than later

    His stuff is definitively top of the rotation stuff. The bigger issue the the arm drag and how pitchers with arm drag end up needing ucl replacement surgery

    I think bres-slow is looking for more preister type guys. I know Atlanta and Pittsburgh both have one.
