    Marchan is battling another catcher to be the backup in Philly, if bres-slow thinks Marchan is better than the current group we have for the backup catcher spot, I think it deserves a phone call!

    I think story needs to own 2B sooner rather than later. We finally moved the dumpster fire off of 3B. We do not need a new dumpster fire at SS. Mayer is coming soon, his defense at SS is not bad. Hopefully by June, Mayer forces us to promote him. In a perfect world he earns the promotion and there are no injuries

    I thought eovaldi was named opening day starter. Hamilton, romy and sogard all deserve to be on the 26 in my opinion.

    Duran - rafeala - abreau with refsynder as a 4th is a good outfield if rafeala improves offensively!

    Who said I would ever join her in the assisted living center! I have a 100 inch 8k Samsung tv at home. I can watch anything that is broadcast from my home!!!

    Since abreau and yoshida will likely start the year on the DL, we have Duran, rafeala and refsynder left on the 26! we have 3 players likely to be placed on the 60 day DL, so we could add Anthony to the 40 man roster. But… Some here think Anthony is not ready to start the year in Boston. Some here think Anthony is ready to start the year in Boston. Regardless, whoever the new outfielder that starts the year in Boston is, he is probably a placeholder until abreau is healthy. Thompson and Eaton can play in the outfield, but neither is in the 40 man roster. sogard is on the 40 man roster and can get play in the outfield. Last year his offense was kind of pitiful in Boston but ok in Worcester. if Anthony stays strong offensively over the next two weeks, I favor him starting the year in Boston. if Anthony struggles to recover from the stomach bug, then I favor the hottest hitter of Thompson, Eaton or sogard starting the year on n Boston

    I admit, I have no life except baseball and my wife!!!!! However if I could locate a suitable assisted living center, then I could just have baseball!!!!!

    I am going with : CF - Duran 3B - Bergman. 1B - Casas 2B - Story SS - Mayer C - Wong DH - Campbell LF - Anthony RF - Rafeala Yoshida and Devers and abreau start the year on the DL.

    If you are a pitcher at the Red Sox spring training camp and your last name starts with a vowel, you probably should be pitching for Worcester or the Yankees

    If we add Thompson, then when Abreau gets healthy, it will be interesting to see if Thompson is out hitting refsynder!!!!! either way, Anthony should start in Worcester!

    I think Wilson is a left handed pitcher. Although judging how he throws, maybe he is a right handed pitcher impersonating a left handed pitcher!!!!! either way, he is hard to watch without throwing up !!!!!!
