    Maybe Casas is tanking in purpose and angling for a trade or an extension???? At this point trading for dalbec is looking like a better option for first base

    We have a luxury that few teams in baseball can match. We have one of the best hitting prospects in baseball being blocked from playing time. there are teams in desperate need of offense out there!!!! Maybe they have starting pitching, catching, middle relief or closer depth???? surely we can deal from strength to come up with a way to help the team?????

    This is important!!! We are still very much in the conversation for a wildcard. Remember, we have starters coming back and then we can move some guys to the bullpen and send down the mediocre guys. (Wink, Kelly, etc) the offense on the other hand needs work. Devers. Casas, rafeala, Duran and Hamilton are not getting it done!!! Sadly defense is still a huge issue as well!!!!! It is amazing that bres-slow is not an alcoholic by now.

    You were ahead of the curve in the Duran call!!! One of the hardest things a GM has to do is try and determine if a player is a one season wonder or multi year star! I hope Duran can rebuild his status quickly, but he looks so lost at the plate!!!!

    I watched early pitch a few innings and it looks like the velocity is up a tiny bit over last year!!! The stuff is ok! Nothing that grabs your attention though!!!! we appear to have an unending supply of mediocre 22-24 year olds starting pitchers at Salem!!! Except for Clarke, none of them have great stuff. And Clarke struggles mightily with command and control.

    Andrew wright of Newsweek floated a Devers to the cubs trade idea!!! Seems like Matt Shaw got sent to the minors. Maybe bres-slow needs to call the cubs asap!!!!! I am thinking Devers and yoshida for a thank card and a bucket of used baseballs!!!

    Marvin alcanterra has been a singles machine! I got to watch toro in game 2 of the double header yesterday. The results look good in the box score, but I cannot figure out how he does it.
