  1. The Pomeranz deal was a huge overpay. I do not know what injury he had when he came over last year, but I am 100 percent sure he was injured at the time of the trade. I know in hindsight Espinosa blew out his elbow so the deal looks good now as well as next year, provided Pomeranz continues to throw well. In my mind, dave over paid in the Kimbrel trade and that set the stage for overpay expectations from every GM from that day toward. And for some reason, maybe due to desperation, dave has been biting the pillow on every trade since he got here. Sadly for us dave has taken to pillow biting like a duck to water!
  2. Is this the first pennant race sale has ever had a legitimate chance to be part of? If so, he must be jacked and having the time of his professional life!
  3. By the end of the year, we will have pitched the most regular season innings in our history. You don't make the playoffs under those circumstances unless your bullpen is solid!
  4. I was at a fund raiser for the museum of natural history the other night and I could not believe how much the mummy they have there looks like Sox owner John Henry. Really creepy!
  5. Sale has been everything we could ever dream of and more. Think of how many wins our zombies on offense cost him earlier in the year!!!! Ps: otani will be everything sale is, and more. Desperate dave needs to move heaven and earth to sign this kid in the offseason.
  6. Sale is amazing! I wish the Yankees would implode so we could give sale a little rest,
  7. Price could be a weapon, but given his health issues, do the Sox put him on the post season roster.
  8. The zombies need a jolt. They look terrible tonight!
  9. Rodriguez threw a very nice game. Shame the zombies ruined it for him!
  10. This offense could use a boost that a return from Nunez could provide.
  11. Nice win tonight! Porcello spun a great game. His pitches were sharp and tight!
  12. The zombies are missing some really good pitches to hit.
  13. Do ucl tears heal on their own?
  14. Reed almost cost us another game tonight. I would like to see Maddox get a shot in a semi competitive situation. Maybe they can send reed to organize hurricane relief efforts in Guam!
  15. Does anybody think porcello will have a bounce back season next year? Can he get his two seam to sink consistently or will he continue to serve up multiple meatballs per game?
  16. Another reason desperate dave might want to resign Nunez is because pedroia has become a banana that bruises very easy and only good for 100 games or so per year.
  17. Has chilli Davis done enough to return next season as hitting coach.
  18. Mookie came alive tonight. Let's hope it is the start of a long hot streak.
  19. Barnes arm looks like it could fall off from over use this year. The ball is not snapping out of his hand like earlier this year. What little movement he had is gone now,
  20. Would we better off moving bogey to third and devers to first and signing cozart to play shortstop?
  21. I am 100 percent on board with acquiring votto this offseason. Great bat, a little power but mostly a huge clubhouse leader. And in my mind that is what we really lost when Ortiz retired. We need someone to lead our zombies and Get them focused,
  22. Dalbec 0 for 4 with 3 strike outs tonight. Mata threw 92 pitches over 4.1 innings with 0 er and 7 k's. Greenville lost 2 to 1.
  23. John Henry needs to launch desperate dave and just follow our lead. World Series title guaranteed!
  24. I have always believed that forcing Ben to sign Hanley and Pablo was the beginning of the end for Larry.
  25. I feel that if price is healthy, he could really contribute as a reliever during the playoffs. It has to be tough for porcello not knowing if his two seamer will sink or not every time he throws it. Long relief seems like the perfect place for him during the playoffs.
