  1. Are we asking too much offensively of Bradley. Are we going to have to adjust to him being a streaky guy (with a really low nadir and mediocre highs) however a guy who always plays great defense.
  2. Amen brother! This year was beyond sweet and incredibly satisfying.
  3. Pedrioa probably can not be counted on to play more than 80 games, so we will need to have a platoon at second base. I know some people think holt can be that guy, but let’s face it, Holt wears down considerably when he plays too much. Add in the fact that if we keep 3 catchers again this year, we won’t have room on the 25 man roster to keep anymore bench players unless we shorten the bullpen. Bottom line is desperate Dave needs to know by mid March what pedrioa’s situation is, one way or the other. I personally think a healthy pedrioa for 80 games is a win for us.
  4. I think I would rather have a pitcher that can get outs and win games than having a righty for the sake of having a righty.
  5. I have seen Feltman pitch live and in person while he was in Greenville. His stuff is electric. Only a couple of the relief pitchers on your list have stuff like his. Unless he is injured, it is hard to imagine any scenario where he is not on the bullet express to Boston by September.
  6. Thought the cardinals would be all over kimbrel. That just seems like a perfect match.
  7. If eovaldi gets signed for stupid money by some other team. Should we look at signing a guy like Happ? We can get him on a three year deal for decent money and he throws we’ll still.
  8. The answer to your question is not much. I think Felton is in Boston by September first and he is a definite upgrade, some of the relievers can give Boston some innings next season. Travis, Lin and a few others can provide some at bats in case of injury.
  9. And it was even worse when we had to watch Gagne pitch!!!!
  10. Is the decline due to his rising walk rate? Then the question becomes, is the rising walk rate an aberration? His fastball has not lost much if any gas, so what else makes you think his decline is coming???
  11. The New York reporters all think the Yankees want to keep Torres at second. Either way, if the Yankees lose leverage, they would be nuts to shell out huge dollars for Machado.
  12. If that happens then the Yankees would have to sign Machado because there is not much else offensively on the free agent market at short stop. Machado’s Agent should use that leverage to squeeze every last ounce of cash possible out of cashman.
  13. I see stuff in the media about how the Sox should be interested in signing Robertson, but shouldn’t we be interested in signing Britton instead? He is a lefty and he has closing experience.
  14. Hope the imminent signing is a starter.
  15. Seems a couple of news outlets are reporting the Yankees tried to get segura from Seattle as well as Paxton. Maybe the Yankees are sincere in saying they are not fans of Machado.
  16. Seems our current 40 man roster is only at 39. So we have room to add eovaldi, Time for desperate Dave to earn his check and sign us another starter.
  17. Are they saving a spot for eovaldi or Felton?
  18. If we resign eovaldi, who gets booted off the 40 man roster?
  19. Or they watched ockimey get destroyed in the afl.
  20. Josh Taylor as well!
  21. Why are we trying to trade a catcher? Don’t our pitchers love throwing to Leon and Vazquez? Mentally happy pitchers are a good thing to have! Aren’t dalbec and denryi at their highest potential trade chip value right now? Throw in a Matta or Hernandez and we should be able to get the reds closer.
  22. I like this trade. Brewer needs more seasoning at pawtucket, but he might be useful in 2019.
  23. True jeter got raped in the yelich trade and that had to hurt. I guess he treats that trade Like he does when his herpes flair up, just adds a little ointment to get some soothing action. And True jeter did let the Yankees rape him in the Stanton trade, but he made the Steinbrenners swallow the whole contract, I think. And granted the young stienbrenners are naturals at swallowing the whole load, after all they learned it from the best there ever was, their daddy, George! But didn’t Miami sign the Cuban Twins, victor and Victoria? Maybe jeter is finally figuring it out! I know they say “you can’t fix stupid”, but let’s hope that’s not true for jeter’s sake! Ps: I heard the Atlanta front office sent jeter a giant flower basket with a one word card shortly after jeter got control of the team. The card said “thanks”!
  24. We cut maddox, who had rotator cuff surgery and will miss all of 2019 and curvases, who will play in Korea.
  25. I think Atlanta has offered the most for realmuto, but jeter is hesitant to trade within the division.
