    I have not noticed any additional thickness arounfmd his middle, but I have noticed his swing is slower than last year and that does concern me. This spring he has been worse than delta airlines and late on everything!

    I think we win 95 games this year and make an impact deal by the trade deadline.

    Sale and price have to have good years for us to be a playoff team this year and clearly they have better numbers when pitching to Leon. Should be an interesting season!

    It would be nice to extend Porcello. But I do understand we have a ton of money tied up in our starting rotation already.

    I know spring training numbers have no real carry over to the regular season. But the adjustments devers made to his swing this offseason looked really good so far. If he has a break out year and we get anything out of pedrioa, that be huge in making up for any unexpected regressions elsewhere in the lineup.

    The sale trade could end up being desperate Dave’s best trade! One might be so bold as to call it an out and out theft!

    Last year betts came up to bat with the bases empty about a 100 more times than benintendi. If benintendi has the year we think he can have, then Betts should be coming up to bat more with runners on base, and hopefully driving in a lot more runs from the two hole than benintendi did last year. Potentially one area of improvement over last year.

    Sale looked amazing today. His ball had tons of movement today. The shoulder looks really good, Let’s hope the shoulder holds up, because if it does, sale is going to be amazing this year.

    Feltman is a beast when he has control! 7th - Hernandez 8th - feltman 9th - Houk Our future key bullpen guys that will make games 6 innings long!

    Houston traffic is a nightmare, third worst in the us in my opinion. Probably worse than Atlanta (4th worse in my opinion) and fast approaching the Honolulu nightmare (2nd worse in my opinion). Ps: Los Angeles is still the absolute worst by a wide margin. The biggest problem in Houston is that giant green cloud that the chemical companies have hung over the city. Add in the fact that cancer rates in Houston are extremely high (hence the reason md Anderson is there) and you have to ask yourself just why would anybody want to live there!

    Sale has to prove the following to get a fat contract: 1.) the shoulder is fine, no residual damage, 2.) he can actually pitch 200 innings a year and not die on us in August of every year.

    Does pedrioa start the year in Boston? I still think he should start the year on the 60 day dL and join us August 1st and give us a boost for August through november. He is not right yet, but light years ahead of last spring. Another couple months and he could be a key contributor down the stretch for us.

    I like devers swing this spring. Shortened a bit and on the ball, He has a legit chance at hitting .250 with 30 taters.

    No two years are alike. I suspect that if we are resting our starters early in the year, we may not have the early season success we had last year.
