If we have an offer for 4 years out there for Alonso, then surely bres-slow out an expiration date on the offer??? Or did bres-slow put identical orders for schwarber and Alonso and first one to say yes by the expiration date wins???

Desperate Dave’s window is closing. He knows this year is his last chance. he will sell his mother’s kidneys to get another ring

Casas has an option left. We should send him back to Worcester to get the rust off!!! Duran for Tong and vientos (Mets) Grade = A- Duran for brohm and painter (Phillies) Grade = A Duran for cecconi and arias (guardians) Grade = B +

I did see a report that the Red Sox offered 4 years to Alonso!! I think bres-slow may have lost his mind doing that, but we shall see

So who is worth us acquiring???

Arizona wants 2 pitchers is what the writers are saying

Injuries are a huge part of baseball!! And faulting the GM is a sad reality!!! Now some of the terrible scrap heap pitchers hang’em Chaim signed and hang’em Chaim trotting out the worst defensive team in the majors several years in a row, those moves fall into the stupid boneheaded GM moves. but injuries have always been and always will be a reality in this game!!! Nobody to blame.

Never been a fan of schwarber or Alonso, but I think our offseason success or failure is tied to where schwarber signs !!

Haha!! Cutter seems like a guy that could go to Tampa and win 12 games and bres-slow would be ripped for trading him!!!!

Exactly!! I think luck is confused with perspective. Not luck with Chapman, just a different perspective. Like Wong teaching Chapman how to throw so his pitches do not float over the heart of the plate! Like the Red Sox getting him to throw that slider looking pitch more!

Love this hire!!! It does not fill the massive hole left by the guy that bolted for the nationals, but this is as solid a hire as we could hope for!!!

Doesn’t schwarber hit left handed?? Do we really need another lefty?
  13. Larry Cook
Isn’t he from Brooklyn?? Not the most family friendly type neighborhood. Have you any proof he is nice to his mother???

We do not have to trade an outfielder!! There are plenty of at bats to go around! However, figuring out the at bat distribution gets much easier for everybody if bres-slow can move yoshida, even if the Sox have to eat a large chunk of the yoshida contract, aka the chris sale trade!!!!!

And why shouldn’t owners be competitive and love making money???
  16. Larry Cook
I see Guzman at Arizona. Cannon for an arm! Outside of that, what is there to like about him????
  17. Larry Cook
We do need left handed relievers!!!
  18. Larry Cook
I thought they dfa’d Criswell ( now a met) for the reliever.

2025 draft picks from Tennessee and lsu.

Going into the 2025 season. Giolita, Hendricks and Sandoval coming off injury. going into the 2026 season. Sandoval, Oviedo, dobbins and cutter coming off injury. bres-slow is consistent
  21. Larry Cook
Did we just steal Ryan otero from the cubs??? I think otero was working with bres-slow when bres-slow was in Chicago!!
  22. Larry Cook
And why does KC want cespedes?
  23. Larry Cook
Arizona wants two starters for Marte and if bres-slow wants to talk to Arizona. One of Early dobbins and Tolle and one of Witherspoon, McNeil and evenston are what I think it will take at a minimum
  24. Larry Cook
Good news! We finally traded an outfielder! Garcia to Pittsburgh But we still have yoshida and our 4 outfielders and Campbell in Worcester
  25. Larry Cook
For a guy who said he was not going to spend much time acquiring bottom of the rotation starters, bres-slow seems to be collecting them anyway!!!
