IF we use the surplus Sale $$ to use on starting pitching, I’m ok with this. Otherwise, would it not have been better to wait and see how Sale does this year and then possibly get something for him at the trade deadline? Who knows, maybe he turns it around and has a great season. Which is no different than hoping Kluber or Paxton or some of this other crap the FO signs does the same v
it's "b". and i think it's a combination of things as to why -1) several failed high-dollar free agency signings like Crawford, Panda, Price, etc.; 2) seeing teams like the Rays win on the cheap, and 3) hubris.
moderate overpay by the Marlins. Luzardo is 63.3 while Mayer (44.5), Mata (2.3) and Perales (3.5) come up to 50.3.
sorry...just now seeing that notin answered this.
if he doesn't, i will. ida rather had Wacha over this guy. at least the fans will get to see lots of home runs when he pitches. won't help us, but it will be exciting for the fans.
maybe. but maybe it's part of The Sham and they told him that to keep him on board. do you really think he stays if they don't do something to upgrade this s***** f***ing team?
you and Bell both nailed it. IMHO, Henry has quickly gone from the most beloved owner in RS history to one of the most hated. i honestly hope he sells the team. Moon says to be careful what you wish for but at this point, does it really matter?
maybe because they keep finishing last, they need 2-3 starters RIGHT NOW and, as someone pointed out earlier, they don't have a single pitching prospect in the Top 100. i guess they think Cora is going to s*** a couple of starters.
