  1. Cora, and Houston took the trashcan, and took it to a whole other level. Teams have been stealing signs for 100 years, but nothing like this, and neither did Pedroia.Short rest today doesn’t mean the same as it used to when starters went every 4th day, and if you didn’t throw 100 pitches you didn’t pitch, so this short rest thing throwing 75 pitches is just a fallacy.
  2. It worked out with Houck, but I still would have Started Sale. As for Cora I’m not a Cora fan, and wouldn’t have hired him back in the first place. I thought he should have been banned from baseball for a long long time for his trashcan caper, which wasn’t just a simple little stealing of signs, and he got off way to easy, and so did the players.
  3. Stop over analyzing everything. I’m just saying that playing in Fenway against the Yankees is no advantage. If you don’t believe me ask Judge, and Stanton. I want the Yankees, and I’ll play them anywhere. Go big, or go home.
  4. Don’t we want to play the Yankees? It takes the excitement to a whole different level. It is nice to play in Fenway, but I’m not sure if it’s any advantage. The Yankees love to play in Fenway.
  5. It’s amazing some of these guys have any arms left.
  6. And all because the Sox don’t have a offense.
  7. Stop using TJ as an excuse, and pitchers only throwing 60-70 pitchers this is not short rest. I’m glad you have everything all figured out with that dime of yours.
  8. Thanks for keeping me straight, and keep me posted until the Norte Dame game is over.
  9. I agree for the most part. Sale is no longer a stopper, but better than Houck. Your assessment is right too that this team will turn on that famous dime, and become good enough to beat the other contenders in a series.
  10. You didn’t agree with me, because I’m starting Sale today.
  11. Over analyzing things again. Tuesday didn’t carry over into Wed, Wed didn’t carry over intoThur, Thur didn’t carry into Fri, and last night won’t carry over into today. You’ve turned that dime so many times it’s gone underground.
  12. I’m not all over the map on Sale, and I would have started him today. Time to take the the kiddie off on him, so what I said was if he doesn’t go today then he starts Sun. Like I asked before who said EO was starting Sun?
  13. There should be no question about Sale. If he’s not going today then he starts tomorrow. Who said EO was starting tomorrow?
  14. I’ll say it again. His contract for next year keeps going up. B O O M!
  15. It’s like the Sox hitters are hitting fungo to the outfielders.
  16. Glad Cora put his offensive lineup in.
  17. Could care less what goes on in those other games. Once again if the Sox take care of business it doesn’t matter what the other teams do. If they can’t win tuck your tail between your legs, and go home.
  18. NO it should not be Renfroe v Iggy, or Arroyo. Renfroe should not be sitting for anybody. The only thing that it should come down to is Fred Flintstone Schwaber v Bobby D. JD in LF, and either Bobby D, or Schwaber at 1B, and Kike in CF. Forget about this lefty v righty thing. The Sox aren’t good enough for that, or playing good enough for that. I don’t trust Cora for nothing, and hopefully he is gone after this year, and the way the Sox are playing their season could be over on Saturday, so worry about Sunday is a. Waste of time.
  19. Don’t worry about the pen for Sunday on Friday. Anybody who is available today plays today, and anybody who is available on Saturday plays Saturday sun is a long time off, and might not even matter either way. The Sox don’t have the luxury to line things up, because the didn’t take care of business the last 6 games. What would 3-3 look like today instead of going 1-5.
  20. None of these starters throw 100 pitches anymore, so the so called short rest isn’t as big a deal.
  21. I for one do not like the lineup. There is no hitter right now that is going so good that they deserve to stay in the lineup. If you had a softball team the outfield would be great, but this alignment all I can say is yikes. As for who pitches after tonight let’s see how things look after tonight, and then go from there. I’m not opposed to Sale tomorrow, and EO on Sun, and don’t worry about short rest. They have all offseason to rest, which might come sooner than later the way they are playing, and if they should make it till Tuesday worry about that then. They made this mess for themselves, so you can’t hold anyone back.
  22. No. I’m just saying that the Sox are a different team now, and not as good.
  23. If the Sox were the same team as earlier in the season I would agree with you, but they are far from it.
  24. Some people on here think the Sox can turn on a dime, and become a winning team again, but they couldn’t turn on one of the worst teams in baseball. I said last week that these last 6 games were no locks for a easy win, but tomorrow’s another day, and they are still in it.
  25. The O’s look like the team playing for a playoff spot.
