Moon when are you going to understand that was the Old Henry, and he’s not like that anymore? He’s got a lot more endeavors going on, and he’s not going to spend on the Sox like he used to. You’ve come out with all these signings, trades, and lineups that have no chance of happing. It’s fun to do it, but then reality will set in.

I wouldn’t pay any player $30M/yr, and I certainly wouldn’t pay $40M/yr. a signing like this ups the price for everyone else, and no one is worth it. Some teams will make moves like this, and the Sox will cash in bottles, and cans, and sign a Whack a.

Barnes was extended to be the closer, so they need to get something out of him to earn that extension.

$175M/7 is to long a contract for Semien taking him to 38, and Moon stop worrying about if you’d be bashing Bloom if you were to question anything.

No there hasn’t been much Sox news going on, and Whack a has gotten much more ink on here than he should, and I’m as guilty as anyone for doing so. Hope something else pops soon.

If Kluber does well he’s worth the $10-12M. Time will tell.

This is not the winter for the Sox to spend big as I’ve been saying ever since I heard Kennedy, and Bloom talk at the end of the year. Yes JH is the best thing to happen to the Red Sox in my lifetime too, but he’s not the same spender as he was 5-10 years ago. To many other adventures going on.

Cheaper by only $1M, but Kluber is a better pitcher. The risk you take is how many innings you would get out of him, but if healthy I take him over Whack a.

Like I said earlier. Criticize when he does bad, and praise when he does good if you want to be fair. Nothing wrong with be fair.

JH is not the big spender he used to be. He’s got to many other endeavors going on then he used to have.

Agree on the Bloom analysis. He hasn’t done anything great in Boston, and he hasn’t done anything bad. Criticize when he does bad, and praise when he does something good is the way it should be.
