    The LAST guy that should have been in the game in that situation was Robles, and yet Cora put him in there. Schreiber should have pitched the 9th, and not the 7th, and if anyone was going to try to get a 6 out save last night it should have been Schreiber, and not the Great Danish. I’m not even talking about Whitlock.

    With all the gloom, and doom on here last night you would have thought the team had just come off a 4-19 stretch instead of a 19-4. They are not going to win them all. Unbelievable.

    The starting rotation has survived without Whitlock, and Evol. Getting a one run save against the hard hitting Seattle team told you what? What has happened since then. Are you confident with Houck coming into the 9th inning at Yankee Stadium protecting a 1 run lead?

    Cora gave Arroyo plenty of shots before last night’s game, and Arroyo had pretty much sucked, and that is why some on here wanted him DFA’d, so I don’t think Cora giving Arroyo a shot last night had any real significance outside of Arroyo having a good game for once.

    Bottom line Houck has 5 saves, and no blown saves, but has been shaky at best. What happens when he comes in with a 1 run lead? Schreiber has been their best pitcher out of the pen. Cora said the plan right now is to activate Whitlock on Mon, but hasn’t said what the plan is for his use.

    Trade value? After 1 good game? Some on here wanted him DFA’d, and now trade value.

    Good way to start the road trip. Pivetta another strong start, and another shaky outing by Houck, but got a big out at the end.Not lots of hitting, but enough to get 6, and some more solid D.
