    The MAIN POINT is that Robles should be the very last option to pitch on this team not the ist, or second which Cora did today. Of course Robles shouldn’t be on the team to begin with. Both Cora, and Bloom are to blame.

    Bringing in Robles to pitch in this game is all on Cora. Robles shouldn’t be on the team to begin with, but because he is should be the very last option. Way to go Cora.

    If JBJ could hit on the road like he hits at Fenway it wouldn’t be as much of a problem.

    The Red Sox are not going to release JBJ, and Kike wasn’t doing much with the bat before he got hurt anyway, so he should have to fight for a spot too when he comes back.

    I think the Red Sox got back in contention more so by playing for the most part against the bad losing teams in the league for over a month than Cora being good enough. Let’s see how the next month goes against the better Div teams.

    Maybe JBJ should just hit at Fenway where he is batting 290, but only 130 on the road.

    Cora, and Bloom not worrying, or figuring out the backend of the BP for the first 50+ games of the season, and making piggybacking a bigger priority will most likely bite them in the ass come postseason one way, or the other.

    This kind of stuff you might have gotten away with against the bottom feeders that the Sox pretty much played against the past month, but not against teams like the Jays, and Yankees.

    True that Streakman, and Strahm might not have been good matchups, but you would rather go with Robles who isn’t a match for anyone especially in the 9th inning, and that is why Schreiber should have pitched the 9th if not the 8th as well. This is a game you can’t get back, and is in the loss column for good.

    Robles was one of Bloom’s late pickups that nobody else wanted.

    So we’re worried about tonight’s game when you don’t even know if a closer will be needed? The game was there for the taken last night, and Cora didn’t take it. The fact the Red Sox only had 1 good RH reliever is on Bloom.

    Sounds like a plan to me, but at any rate Robles has to be gone.

    Who would you rather see try to pitch 2 innings Danish, or Schreiber? If the plan was for Danish to pitch the 8th, and 9th last night, and Schreiber only pitch the 7th then I think that was a flawed plan at best.

    At the very least Schreiber could have gone 2 innings. When Tom Caron, and the NESN post game crew question Cora’s moves then you know he must of messed up. Bringing Robles into the game at that point to me wasn’t all Cora could do.

    The top of the order was also coming up in the 9th, and like I said earlier that the only way Robles comes into that situation is if he was the last man standing.
