  1. Of course Story getting hot, and bashing the long ball has been the biggest help, but even like the bottom of the order getting a few hits like last night like JBJ, and Franchy coming off the bench, and coming through was a big help too.
  2. Rizzo was the notable player given up.
  3. 1 AB is a spark, but it was good to see.
  4. I forgot JBJ had moved to CF, but the point still stands this happened all night long, and Franchy running into someone may even hurt more.
  5. Once again Story, and JBJ almost collided. That was JBJ’s ball. Take charge. This s*** has happened all night, and Bogey is hurt, because of it.
  6. Franchy got a hit to keep things going too.
  7. That’s the point the outfielders need to take charge. Especially Dugy.
  8. That question shouldn’t even have to be asked, but it does on the Red Sox 40 games into the season.
  9. Red Sox Infielders, and outfielders have had trouble communicating all night long. The outfielders have to take more charge.
  10. That’s what I was going on that he was a highly regarded prospect. Kopech was also.
  11. Who’s closing tonight?
  12. That’s on Cora for putting Arroyo out there, and Bloom for not getting a regular RHH RF to put out there.
  13. Not catching that ball has changed the whole inning.
  14. JBJ has that ball in his back pocket.
  15. Story Land’s business is booming.
  16. Nobody notable was given up. Not in the Sale, and Kimbrel category, or even Rizzo for that matter.
  17. When Bloom trades one of note to get someone of note like DD did let me know.
  18. We both agreed on the JBJ trade, and I do enjoy minor league baseball, but I just don’t count on anybody until they hit Boston.
  19. Agree, and that is why Bloom should have picked up a regular RHH outfielder before the season started.
  20. Don’t like Arroyo in RF, and especially in Fenway.
  21. One big problem would be to replace 2 of your best hitters, and their production, and that won’t be a cheap replacement. Buying cheap you usually get what you pay for. Last year Renfroe, and Kike worked out well, but how often to you get 96 RBI for $3M? If Raffy isn’t signed next year a good chunk of Price’s money will go to Raffy’s arb year. Yes we could fail by bringing back Bogey, and JD, but I’d trust Bogey more than I would his replacement, and I don’t even know who that would be. Bogey is a proven commodity in Boston, and I’ll take that anyday.
  22. Nobody is saying they will fail, and no one is saying they will sign worse players but I said it could happen once again it could happen, and you could go backwards. Once again it was could happen. What good does it do to have all kinds of money coming off the books if you have to use it for replacements for what you are losing? That was my main point, and I for one don’t trust Bloom. I’m not counting on any big signing like Judge, and like Raffy his paycheck is getting bigger everyday, and at this point I’m not sure JH will open his checkbook for Raffy. Once again I was just throwing the possibility out there that they may end up worse off then they were, and Not that they would.
  23. If Bobby D doesn’t pick it up soon Bobby D may be replacing someone from the Woo Sox.
  24. It may cost more money to replace the players your losing if you want someone just as good, and I for one don’t trust Bloom. How much do you think it would cost someone compared to Bogey? You are just taking it for granted that Bloom can do this, and I don’t.
