    Good, or bad Pivetta shows up every 5th day. Last night was the good Pivetta. Still not sold on Sale, but at least he’s healthy. Tampa should be a good test. Offense not firing on all cylinders, and with Duvall out most have got to pick it up. Turner has little , or no production, Casas for the most part has looked more suspect than prospect. Yoshida has more walks, and getting on by errors than hits, and needs to hit less ping pong balls to the IF. Nothing from Arroyo’s bat, and Wong his not going to give you much either. Kike has pretty much sucked all the way around, and his bat has for two years now. Ten games in, and I’m still not panicking, but these next few weeks present a tougher schedule.

    Casas, and Yoshida aren’t doing much with the bat themselves.

    Yea, but he’s cheaper than JD , which was basically a swap.

    His BA now starts with a big fat goose egg. Forget about him leading off, because he shouldn’t even be in the lineup.

    You can’t expect the BP to come in every night, and pitch at least 4 innings, and stay fresh. The BP will be worn out by Memorial Day.

    Duvall is on the IL, but still nothing more than that. In Boston for more test.

    Agree, and a 300 hitter in baseball is thought in a way more positive way than a soccer, hockey, or a golfer with the examples given.

    The lineup is out. No biggie surprises except maybe Kike, and his 3-28 leading off. The Ref Man in CF batting 5th.

    Well said, and like I said in another post I have to doubt that things will come out, and Cora will be trashed going out the door like Tito was.

    Is there any other sport if you fail 7 out of 10 times your considered to be doing good?

    As of 12:38 according to Abrahm Duvall was meeting with the Doctors.

    Very true, and Kike is nothing more that a stopgap himself no matter where he plays.

    Bobby D played SS yesterday, and is waiting in the wings in Worcester.

    I’m sure Cora will get trashed out the door just like Tito did.

    Let’s bring on TB, and see how they stack up, against a better team, and better pitching.

    Everyone knew before the season even started that Kike had never been anything close to be a FT SS before with I believe 24 games is the most Kike had ever played there, and some just took it for granted that he would be good there. Duvall has never been a FT CF, but he’s pounding the ball, and hasn’t had many rough chances out in CF there so far. That’s the kind of things that Bloom does when putting together a team just like last year when the Red Sox needed a CF he went out, and got Pham a LF. Kike is not hitting once again, which is a big problem too along with Casas, and Arroyo. Yoshida hasn’t exactly been knocking the cover off the ball either, and has hit more ping pong balls to the IF then anything else.

    That I get, but like I said at the present Kike is not hitting, and he didn’t hit much last year either, so to me that would have to change before he plays anywhere.

    One of them would have to sit if Kike went back to the OF as some have suggested.

    He sucked last year with the bat too, and that was before he was injured. I can’t see any of Duvall, Dugy, Yoshida, or Turner sitting the way things are going at the present.

    Kike is just not fielding he is not hitting either, so if he’s not at SS I don’t see him playing much at all.

    I didn’t see the game today, but looking at the box score it looks like a few guys did some raking, and Houck pitched decent.

    You’re probably right. I forgot about the Kut Man.
