  1. I’ll go with the known Super Stars instead of a bunch of hyped suspects who may never turnout as good as they’re hyped, and like I said earlier if that happens the Red Sox will get set back for years to come.
  2. Bloom was talking out his ass, and looking like an ass in doing it trying to shout down the boo birds. I believe the reason that Raffy was resigned out of the three was because he was the last one standing. At least two of the three could have, and should have been resigned, and would have if Bloom hadn’t botched the Bogey contract so bad. Some are putting all their chips on the suspects who have hype, and promise, but at this point that’s all that is, and that includes Bello, Casas, and Mayer, and if they don’t turn out as good as the hype the Red Sox will be set back for years.
  3. Agree, and Bloom trying to shout down all his great admiring boo bird fans who paid money to do so made him look even worse.
  4. There should be 1 vote to get into the HOF. Either you’re good enough, or you’re not. Rolen got something like 10% his first go around, so how did he get better? How many votes did it take for Jim Rice to get in? The intention of the HOF was the very best of the very best of the very best.
  5. I think time will all take care of itself, and in all likelihood, it will take more than 6 starters to get through the season. Outside of Pivetta you don’t have any recent likelihood of all these guys lasting through a season, and Bello probably will have a innings limit at the very least.
  6. If he pitches like last year yes, but he’s been around for awhile, and last year may have just been a career year, and he’ll go back to being a journeyman like he was before.
  7. I think Paxton starts off in the starting rotation. How long he stays there is another question.
  8. I don’t think Barnes has to much trade value, and it sounds like Cora, and Bloom might not be on the same page.
  9. I would sign Iggy if he is still out there. That way you got a 2B, and a backup SS over Arroyo.
  10. When Story went down I think Bloom took what was probably the easiest position to fill, which ended up being Duvall over an Andrus type, which may have wanted more money for more years.
  11. I get that, but the problem is other parties don’t. I get it that others don’t want to hear constant I know you are, but what am I going endlessly back, and forth. I’ve been on endless message boards, and forums through the years, and have never seen anything like this.
  12. I don’t think Bogey is finished by any means, but what kind of numbers he puts up in other parks will be interesting to see. He’ll have plenty of good bats around him.
  13. Do you know he was talking about you too? Once again we agree you comprehending is another serious flaw.
  14. He was talking about you too, but you don’t seem to comprehend that, and yes I agree you pretending to know everything is a major flaw in your rants.
  15. I’m for that, but it should be that way for all.
  16. NOBODY has a clue what anybody will do is the main point. JD may be finished as a power producer, or he may still have a few good years left in him, and the same for Bogey. Time will tell.
  17. To me it is going to come down to the starting rotation on how good, or how bad their record will be.
  18. You have no clue what Yoshida will do against ML pitching, or a 38 year old Turner. They might not even be as good as Bogey, and JD this year let alone last year. Yes losing Renfroe’s production was huge, and that’s why you kept hearing about the BIG blunder Bloom had made all year.
  19. Yes we know you had close to zero hopes, and bailed at the first sign of predictable trouble after giving your daily wildcard standings updates. There is not enough cheese available to go with the continuous whine you are still doing about last year that is not going to change a thing.
  20. You’ve got enough to worry about with wondering if the 3rd, and 1B foul lines can be guarded this year, and if Turner will be on the bench , or not then worrying about other fans, and you may even learn something.
  21. You think you get everything, and you think you know everything, and you don’t, and you don’t. You can write long column after long column all you want that most of the time says the same things over, and over again. You know the old wash, rinse, and repeat. Why do you constantly have to bash the fans, and call hem crybabies? Does it make you feel better? It must, because you can’t do without it.
  22. I can even do that.
  23. I think most Red Sox fans right now would like to see Mookie in RF, and Bogey at SS next year when they pay some of the highest prices in baseball when they go to Fenway, and Don’t care about cliffs, or the lux tax, or any other such things. They want to see the team win here, and now, and get into the postseason, and a shot at the WS. They are not crybabies just, because you like to label them that way. It takes a crybaby to know a crybaby, and I’ll gladly admit I’m one of those crybabies, but there is no bigger crybaby on here than you when you go on, and on about how people that criticize Bloom are Bashers.
  24. Well said, and I agree 100%, but some just don’t seem to understand that.
