  1. I was more concerned with the slumber in the lumber than what the pitching had given up.
  2. I fully understand that Story isn’t here Without Bloom. My point being it doesn’t matter who signed him now he is the SS just like I said after last season ended that he would be the starting SS in 2023 when a number of posters on here said he should stay at 2B, and the team should go out, and get a SS. The only reason he was at 2B last year was, because of Bogey. If you think they are going to move him off SS now just , because a new front office type is coming in then fine, but I don’t, so we’ll see if I’m right, or not.
  3. It’s Max’s fault with his no name offense.
  4. I agree with your earlier post that at the most Sale shouldn’t be penciled in higher than a 6.
  5. Take away that 12 spot, and that 37 is even not as good as it looks.
  6. I knew they beat Clemson, but I didn’t count that, because Lawrence didn’t play. It’s been a long time Green jerseys , or not.
  7. Who signed him is the irrelevant part.
  8. Verdugo is not any headliner especially on his last arb year.
  9. On a 6-15 run. Glad to see Cora has these guys finishing up so strong, and on a positive note. Listless, and lifeless. Playoffs? Did someone say playoffs? 2021 seems like such a long time ago.🙈
  10. Story was signed to be the SS. Now if you want to get a better2B than Reyes, or Urias I’m all for it. After the rotation is fixed of course.
  11. When is the last time ND won a big game like this?
  12. It would have brought me joy if it would have happened, but they will probably be closer to 87 loses than 87 wins.
  13. To me Duran is still a question mark on what he can do. He had tailed off big time before he got hurt. Abreu is still a question mark on what he can do full time, and so is the RAF Man at this point, so to count on all 3 next year full time to me is risky business.
  14. I would say JH views the here, and now differently from what you do, and that is why Bloom is gone. JH is not waiting to 2025, or beyond to get back in the postseason, nor should he, and just like all the fans like me who feel the same way.
  15. 🙈🙈🙈.
  16. I don’t believe there is anyone on here past, or present who would not say Bloom was your guy. You still don’t get that improving the farm rankings was not the #1 priority, but getting into the postseason was. If making the farm better along the way happened great, but be a losing last place in the Div team not so great.
  17. Think the Red Sox know now that they should have interviewed more candidates at the time than just Bloom?
  18. Half ass job at best, and bail out of that boat again.🙈
  19. From the day Bloom got hired I said it was a bad move, and unfortunately I was right, and the Red Sox have suffered, because of it with a most likely last two years being a losing last place in the Div team, and only dreaming of being in the postseason. Bloom being fired brings me pleasure, but the reason he was fired, because of the results of the WL record does not. It’s been painful to watch the last two years for not only me, but lots, and lots of fans. For you to say Bloom is not your guy is like me saying Bloom is my guy.
  20. You mean like doing the wild card standings updates only when things looks good, or wishing to play the Yankees, and Toronto when things are going good. How did that work out lately? The Wild card standings update would be seeing the full picture, but for the second year in a row you stopped. Hmm.
  21. Finding that 3rd option in the fork in the road was real tough for him, and even after two tries he still didn’t find it. Are we sure he went to Yale? From dithered to wanderer.
  22. Either way it looks bad for Bloom. If he didn’t know he should have, and if he did know he still didn’t do much of anything about it.
  23. You’re not competing with Chris Sale on the team though, and really haven’t since some time during the 2018 season. Trading Sale, and his contract would have been a plus all the way around, and maybe using the money saved from his contract to get a more reliable, and better pitcher. It’s not like the Red Sox could use one, or anything.
  24. Bobby D in the lineup today. Masa gets another rest.
  25. I’ve been with you on that one, and I questioned the contract when they signed him if it was an overpriced deal.
