  1. Agree that Yoshida is not close to the ball player that Ichiro was. Masa may have more power, but that’s about it.
  2. Let’s see how he ends up, but he does have long stretches where he hits ping pong balls to the infield.
  3. That corner is talksox only, and that’s where the 1% would come in.
  4. I don’t think I ever said 99%. Maybe 99% of the venues I frequent.
  5. The lack of hitting is all on the players, and if anyone gets ripped it should be them.
  6. Good to see JT back in the lineup again today, but outside of him being in it does it really matter what the rest of the lineup looks like these days?
  7. Well you’ve seen more anyway.
  8. Good to see JT back in the lineup today. Dugy also leading off where he’s done his best hitting this year.
  9. Having to use two openers against Toronto was just wrong to me. You’ve been a Red Sox fan longer than me, so I’ll concede you know more than I do.
  10. Max everyone was screaming at Bloom to add a 5th starter, because they had needed one for weeks. I’ll repeat for weeks. If Sale is healthy he’s good, but you can’t count on him to stay healthy for long though. Looked good last night.
  11. A little more life to the bats last night, and Story Land even looked better too. Of course the 3 run bomb by Casas helped.
  12. Thanks for the kind words Max.
  13. Chang outrighted to Worcester today. Hopefully he’s not needed in Boston again this year, but the way things have gone this year i wouldn’t count it out.
  14. Story back at SS tonight.
  15. As fair as I am overall I’ll give it a plus. To add to it the SS situation for a long time, and not adding a starting pitcher were a minus.
  16. Sale Day! $41 tickets for #41. Get ‘em while they last.
  17. I was yelling for a closer even before last year started, and I’ve already mentioned Martin, and Jansen were good moves. Yoshida has been a good pickup at least for a bat, but I still want to see how his stats end up at the end of the year, and how he does in these last two months postseason push. JT has been a great pickup, and I wish I hadn’t of dropped him so quick on my fantasy team. The story is INC on Duvall, and who knows what his stats would be today if he hadn’t gotten hurt. Not a great fit as a CF though. Duran has made a good comeback, but I’m still not entirely sold on him yet. I was wrong on him not deserving another chance though, which might not have happened if Duvall hadn’t gotten hurt. Casas has come around with the bat, which I was wondering for awhile. His D at 1B is another story though. Kluber not worth mentioning, and I’ve said enough about Kike. That’s all I got.
  18. I agree with you on the resting of players 100%, and adding a starting pitcher at the deadline, which had been needed for weeks would have helped the morale of the ball club, and fans alike, and might have made a difference of a game, or two, which may turn out to be big later on.
  19. No problem, and as always it’s a pleasure, and go ND.
  20. I agree with most, but i don’t think he did that good a job on lessening all the expiring contracts that came due last year. He had 3 years to work on that, and except for trading Vaz he did pretty much nothing with them.
  21. That’s what I’ve been trying to tell you. Everyone fan is different, and some see it, and take it differently than you do. I’m very well aware that many see it differently from what I do, but like I’ve said it works for me.
  22. Yes Cora, and Bloom have more information to go on than we do, but just because one is a big league manager, and the other one is a HOBO of a big league club doesn’t always means they know more than you, or anyone else in every situation, nor are they right every time.
  23. There is, but I never said they don’t criticize Bloom too. I have heard you criticize Bloom several times. I’ve even given Bloom an atta boy a few times.
  24. I would not go into next year even thinking about counting on Chris Frail for the rotation.
  25. That sums it up pretty good.
