The looking for the third fork in the road doesn’t happen if Bloom had a clue what he was doing, and wasn’t so indecisive at trade deadline time. He was decisive though when he stayed over the CBT though.

Nothing wrong with the comment about Citizens Bank Park.mi commented on it last night in real time on the Postseason thread. You don’t think other Red Sox fans were thinking the same thing last night that in Philly the park was filled, and raucous, while Fenway sat empty? The Phillies were in, and once again the Red Sox were out.

LYAO all you want. I’ve said before the 1967 team was, and is my all time favorite Red Sox team even though they didn’t win it all, and they were mostly all home grown. 1975 was another good team, and mostly homegrown.

22 games over 500 in 2021, which was the outlier for Bloom makes the overall record better than things really were. It didn’t cover up the two losing last in the Div teams though.
