  1. A failure by Boras sure, but we don’t know how big a failure, because we don’t know what was out there for offers. There was a reported offer by the Yankees to Snell for $150M.
  2. So? Story dumped his agent right after he signed with Boston.
  3. I don’t have any proof that Monty wouldn’t have wanted to come to Boston, and I didn’t need any, because I Never said Monty didn’t want to come to Boston. You on the other hand said Monty would have wanted to come to Boston, and now you say you were just going by Heyman’s report that said it wasn’t his preferred destination, so in other words you didn’t have any proof either. I know you wanted it to be so bad that Monty would want to come to Boston that you threw a hissy fit when I mentioned a headline I saw on a report from Heyman that wasn’t worded to your satisfaction that you started your fallback name calling. MVP is two letters to many for you. Just plain P is enough.🤭🙈🤮.
  4. Where is your proof that Monty would have wanted to come to Boston to narrow it down? I love it when you get all riled up ,and I get MV Pee. The name calling runs in the family with you, and Moon.
  5. I’ll admit I didn’t read the report, but you said what Heyman said was wrong, and Monty wanted to come to Boston. Where’s your proof that Monty wanted to come to Boston? Saying he preferred not to, and saying he wanted to are 2 different things entirely.
  6. And after all this you don’t believe that Monty didn’t want to play for the losing Red Sox, and Heyman was wrong?
  7. No one is saying the media gets everything right, or even what % they get right.
  8. Of course the Media makes mistakes, but I’ll still put their knowledge above anyone on here.
  9. What is your source to say there was zero other parties at the time, or today, or think you know more than Heyman, Shaugnessy, Mazz, or anyone else? You don’t.
  10. You might be able to beat Felger, but it would be close.
  11. In your wildest, wettest dreams that was going to happen, and yet he met with them anyway.
  12. And what % of a chance was that going to happen?
  13. You may be right, but the media has better, and more connections than ANYBODY on here, which is hard to believe for some.
  14. You actually think the Yam Man had intentions of signing in Boston, or interest?
  15. But you(Joe s*** The Ragman) knows more than Heyman, or at least thinks you do.
  16. Yea I guess 1% interest could mean interest. You bought it anyway.
  17. To boil it all down concrete offer, or formal offer didn’t mean a diddily s*** at all.
  18. Dope?🤭🙈🤮! You was the Dope that was all excited the Red Sox were meeting with the Yam Man when the Red Sox didn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of signing him. Lots of players will meet with anyone even if they have no intention of going there just to see what offers are out there. Where is your confirmation that the zRed Sox made any offer to Monty at all? Negotiations can be a l o n g stretch of what was actually happening.
  19. In the meantime Monty has given up 9 runs in his last 10 innings.
  20. Were there any confirmed confirmations that the Red Sox actually offered Monty a contract. Plenty of story rumors means absolutely nothing. Who actually talked to Monty to confirm anything? Talking about stories to confirm an narrative.
  21. We’ll all the wishing, and hoping that went on on here didn’t get anyone to come to Boston, and some actually believed the Red Sox had a chance at the Yam Man.
  22. The report on Monty was there was a zoom call between him, and the Red Sox, but no formal offer was made. I guess you could call that in negotiations.
  23. I’m just reporting what Heyman said, and saying the Red Sox, and Monty were in negotiations doesn’t mean a whole heck of a lot. The Red Sox supposedly offered the Yam Man a contract too, so would you call that in negotiations? There were all kinds of so called rumors this past offseason involving the zRed Sox getting rid of this one, and that one, and they are still all in Boston.
  24. Monty according to Heyman didn’t want anything to do with Boston, and wanted to go to a winning team, and at the time you couldn’t blame him.
