  1. As I’ve said many times before when you, or others have suggested defensive changes. Up to this point for good, or for worse the Red Sox don’t see the defensive struggles even though Cora, and others have mentioned the struggles many times as being a big enough problem to do anything about it, and just keep playing the hand they have dealt themselves defensively, and hope the bats will be good enough to to overcome it.
  2. Ref Man played 37 games in RF last year, and started 20 of them. I don’t see any change in that this year Fenway, or not unless other outfielders are added to the present roster. I also see the RAF Man as the FT primary CF.
  3. I heard yesterday that the Red Sox are 28th in MLB in payroll to revenue, so that sounds right to what you are saying.
  4. Tek has been there. What new coaches are going to improve Wong?🤭 Remember Wong CAN be Wrong.🙈
  5. You don’t think injuries played a big part in the record last year? I don’t see where ANYONE said last year was a reason to feel optimistic about anything. I’m just saying wait to see what the final 26 looks like. Injuries could happen in ST, and it may even look worse than it does now.
  6. I’ll say the same thing I said last year. Wait until opening day to see how things look.
  7. What new coaches will help Wong improve on D? If Tek can’t help him then he probably can’t be helped.
  8. It’s hard to predict with all the injuries of the past few years. What would the team been like last year if Story, Casas, and Whit would have been healthy last year? Raffy’s shoulder was bothering him on the first road trip last year.
  9. I read all post to some degree, and that why I gave an opinion on projections. Projections are useless IMO, and as you said some are Very Obsessed with them. Different opinions, and different strokes for different folks. I’ll also offer IMO I don’t think Chapman will be great wherever he pitches. Maybe OK, but not great.
  10. I’m not obsessed with projections at all, and as a matter of fact I think they are useless unless they can predict health wise, which they can’t. What were the projections for Story, Casas, and Whit last year? Even Raffy for that matter? The backend of the BP worries me the most. To many coming off injuries, and be counted on as their former selves. If Chapman is the closer that’s another concern. I believe you said earlier 7th inning is ok, but then it goes down hill in 8-9 innings.
  11. Raffy swinging the bat as hard as he does is more likely getting hurt that way then playing in the field.
  12. Was Raffy paid $300M+ to be a 1B let alone a DH? What more work to you think Raffy would be doing to be an elite hitter if he was just the DH that he’s not doing now? This stuff is way over thought IMO.
  13. As usual you believe what you want to, and I’ll believe what I want to.
  14. I didn’t forget at all. I never said I was right all the time. What fun would that be?
  15. Agree with all. The lack of much of a pass rush didn’t help either, or containing the QB when he ran. ND did come back some in the 2nd half, which made the score look closer than the game actually was.
  16. I said back in Sept that i didn’t think this was one of ND better teams, and I’ve been following them since the early 1960’s. Georgia, and Alabama were both shells of their usual selves IMO. I really don’t put much stock into what teams do in bowl games as lots of players sit out. We discussed that a year ago. Yes we played a bunch of ranked teams, but even in a down year teams still get ranked. Beating Georgia with a backup QB made it a lot easier too.
  17. Thank you, and I accept. I got quite a few things right on ND this year.🤫
  18. Tougher schedule next year after a relatively easy one this year. Navy, and Army being underfeated when they played them showed how College football was down this year..
  19. This was an easy one. Not only did Ohio State have a tougher road to the Championship, but they were just a better team. ND didn’t really stop Ohio State last night on D, and only getting 16 yds rushing from their running backs was just to much to overcome.
  20. Total BEAT DOWN by Ohio State in first half. Not a surprise at all.
  21. Most likely more than only two years, but I have no faith that the Red Sox will offer Crochet enough where there isn’t an opt-out involved.
  22. I look for an extension sometime during ST. Most likely with an opt-out, and won’t be for as long as most people would like. No extension in ST won’t be a good look.
  23. I’d be shocked if the Red Sox offered Scott more years at a higher AAV than what the Dodgers did.
  24. I agree, but it wasn’t like Scott wasn’t out there for a while for other teams like the Red Sox to spend a little money. Same for Teoscar for that matter.
  25. No, but when the Monsta came in he caused quite a stir in the crowd.
